    Morning everyone.

As far as the weather goes, we did have those nice few weeks last month I think that was summer!

Tesco and Asda here have become Tamflu collection sites and Tesco ran out of Tamiflu within a few hours, I believe and they won't be getting anymore until monday.

Ivyleaf good news about your varicose veins, would October have taken you over 18 weeks wait?

Ravylesley you DD's haven't been keeping the slugs as pets have they? When mine was younger she probably would have!

    Morning all

Really bright and sunny here today and good forecast for the day - hope they are right as we are off to an open air concert tonight. Opera in the Park, complete with picnics, deckchairs, wine and lots of friends. I am really looking forward to it so hope the weather holds:rolleyes:

Managed to get my laptop up and working again after 6 hours of messing with various discs last night. That is the good part however I have lost all my photos, music etc and back up simply will not work so am pretty gutted. Must look on the bright side though at least it is working again and I didn't have an expensive bill to pay;) So I can catch up on the thread again now.

Diva - hope you are ok and have heard from Tristan.
SunnyGirl - hope you are starting to feel a little better.
Bitsy - your husband deserves all the praise after doing so well, I wish I could get motivated to do the same:o:rolleyes:
Pen-pin - sorry to hear you had such a painful time on holiday

Right off to start my cleaning, washing out on line and it is lovely after all the bad weather to see it drying beautifully:D

    Have a good day everyone

    Morning all,

Looks like a nice day here, but more rain comng tomorrow, N9eav my veg is suffering too, I have only had a few corgettes, the rest are rotting before they have chance to grow , I have three cucumbers ready to pick today though :T.

I have a wash in the wm, which I will hang out while the weather is nice, and we need to hoover through and mop floors, then OH and I will be out walking, he want to drive quite far as he has his new car ans loves driving it , so we will drive a distance and then have a nice long walk.

DD had bought herself a hair dye , she is a natural white blonde and has the most beautiful hair , you know the colour that a lot of people pay to be like ?, but she wants to to bright red , so I said she could in the holiday, we did a patch test yeaterday and all seems fine, so might go for it tonight, will try and post a before and after shot. Although she also has conjuntivitis (sp) I think, so will have to see how that is before we start.

OH is at the bootie, but has promised me a cooked breakfast when he gets back :T so I got some of Pinks potato bread out of the freezer, we will have it with eggs, mushrooms and bacon. Which should take us through to tea time, ( not sure I should tell you what I am having after yesterday :D)

FE glad the scan went well, happy but sad too xx

Candy, nice to see you posting, and glad all went well with the op xx

Squiggly how did it go yesterday ???

nic1lou2, your evening sounds lovely, enjoy xx

Ok more tea needed, have good days all xx

Thanks patchwork cat, no, it would have been exactly 3 months, but 2 months is better :D

redruby - My cousin's hair was platinum blonde, one of her teachers always had a down on her, refusing to believe it wasn't dyed! Hope your DD enjoys being a redhead.

Fairy Elephant - So glad all's well!

MSD - Thinking of you xx

Betheebee - Hope you're okay and just busy as usual!

Penny_Pincher - Glad you're safely back, would love to see a pic of your new baby :D Did you know there was a power cut here (all over Dartford and Bexley, including Welling) from Monday lunchtime til Thursday morning? That may explain why your cleaner hadn't been and cleaned your house. Well done on the essay result

Pippa S. - Hope Asda isn't too busy today. I'm so thankful we can usually avoid supermarkets at the weekend!

Aussielass - Hope John's toes are better today.

    Hello everybody,

We ended up going to the mainland today. I rang DD and we met up and had lunch. DH bought himself a pair of joggers so his feet will be much better Monday. :D I bought DGS a game for his Leapster that were on special. I'll keep it for Xmas. It was Dora the Explorer. Got home around 4pm and went to Mass at 5pm. I haven't been for a little while. The roof didn't cave in thank goodness. :D

Just got home and had leftover sausage casserole for tea. Having a glass of vino now.

FE Glad it went well although not all the news is good.
ivyleaf The time will fly until then. I hope it makes a good improvement.
Ruby Come on you can tell us. :D The red might take quite a while to wash out of DD hair. I hope she likes it. ;)

Off to have a shower. Wine glass drained. :D Have a nice day. Byeeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Hi everyone, and belated birthday greetings for yesterday, what a lot on the same day.Sunnygirl-hope you are getting a bit better and managed to enjoy your day.
    Welcome Patchwork Cat.
halight- hope the head is easing a bit.Glad you got your appt moved earlier.
FE-fabulous news about the strong heartbeat.Take care.
Taking it easy today, not slept well the last 2 nights so feel a bit zombie like.
Not got any fixed plans for today,I may make some cards, though there is a bit of sun peeping at the mo.My tomatoes really need it.I can understand you feeling a bit despondentN9eav, after all the hard work you put in with your veggies to see it going to pot due to bad weather.

I made a load of butternut squash soup on Thursday, some was in the fridge in a glass jug.My heavy handed DS2 plonked it on the worktop and the bottom smashed, there was broken glass and orange gloop everywhere:eek: He was only concerned that he couldnt eat it!Luckily there was another pot.I bought him one of the Cookery for Blokes for his birthday as he is doing quite a bit these days,he actually stopped to buy some turkey breasts from the Coop on his way back from the gym,and cooked lunch for him and his brother....Yes...-its only taken 27 years, but I'm getting there at last.
PP, sorry you had a painful time while you were away.Would love to see the little dog.

    Right-time for a cuppa.Hugs to all in need.x

    Morning all!

Woken very early by oh going off to work, then he popped back again to change before heading off for golf, stopping briefly to ask if I'd get some chilli sauce for a birthday pressie for a chap who works with him! Blokes have funny pressie ideas?!

OS will involve marinading stuff to go on bbq tonight I think, not much else though as at oh's so don't need to do housework! Going to pop into town and have a mooch about and then might take a book down to the beach as the sun has made an appearance!

Have a good day all xx

PS dd2 is having a fab time in Spain, though I think she might be over exaggerating the weather a little, got a text telling me it was 50 degrees lol!

Luckily we were untouched by the power cut. The cleaner just didnt turn up. It's not the first time she has let me down.
