Ouch.........Not again
Word of advise get every single name and number of the people you speak to at Virgin,
Might not help any cos if they are like Orange they will make it up as they go along with who they and who they will not help but at least you will have a record of the people you spoke toThere is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin, and roam the world at will.

Sorry what do you mean "again" ?
If I can get out I intend to write to them to reject their changes etc. this week as I'm off on holidays for 2 weeks soon and will forget when I come back.
Myself and OH have a contract but we can get £10 per month contracts with Vodafone so if we can get out we might as well. Assume we can keep our handsets too.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

You are entitle to cancel contract without further fee. I have done that already, 6 months into an 18months contract, they didn't fobbed me off like people who on orange are experiencing.
You have 30days from the day they gave notice, I received the notice email on 22/070 -
My kids both had Virgin phones on contracts in my husband's name, we received the same letter and cancelled. No problem got pac codes for both phones.
Yes we kept the handsets too, one contract from January one from March.0 -
You are definitely legally allowed to cancel the contracts due to the change of the terms and conditions. As long as you have paid your first months bill, you are also entitled to keep the handset free of charge.
I have four virgin contracts, and have just cancelled two of them, and took out new ones straight away, getting much better handsets for the same price. The two handsets I have sold online for £33 each. The other two I am cancelling tomorrow, and am going to take out same contracts again, and get same phones again free, but the ones I have got now I can sell for £140. Thanks VirginEarnings so far (2010)
Cashed out: £29.52
Confirmed: £52 (requested)
Pending: £60+0 -
Sent off letter today to cancel. We are on £12 per month contract and I have Samsung G600 and OH has Nokia 6300. Are Virgin handsets locked. If so can I unlock free online? I find unlocked phones sell so much better in work.
Thinking of going to Vodafone £10 per month and getting Samsung Jet and OH will probably have his 3rd Nokia 6300!!~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

You don't actually need to write to cancel it, you can just phone customer services and state that you wish to cancel due to the per-minute billing. Makes it a bit easierEarnings so far (2010)

I would do that but I'm away from Monday on 2 weeks hols. so no time to sort out new phones and as their letter just dated July I wanted to make sure I rejected within 30 days. I will ring and get my PAC code when I return but it will be September in case they try to be awkward they will have my letters.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)
