Warning Faff Alert.
Day three of plumbers yesterday, didn't turn up to 11, so I was faffing, knew as soon as I picked up a paint brush they would turn up. Dog/paint can/carpet situation possible, as he goes mad at sound of doorbell.
So I faffed about doing a lot of nothing, until midday. All in all not a lot acheived personally this week. I think being busy doing nothing has a very negative affect on me. Yes I have a half painted front room, but don't feel very satisfied with the week. So back to the grinstone next week, more plumbers but I think when I get going the momentum takes hold and a lot more is acheived.
Have been alcohol free all week, have spent very little cash wise. Got a ton of Lightspeed notifications to do.
Lets see what Saturday brings.DC.

TY Hypno. Good to see you on BB !
This week sees the start of my utilty bills piggy. I'm totally useless at transferring funds from my current account to my 'saving pots'. I know it sounds silly but I hoping if I can find the self discipline to leave cold hard cash in a pig come February I will have real holding folding to pay leccy and gas.DC.

I have tried to do the piggy/pots/envelopes/different online accounts, and none work for me because I keep borrowing money from one to use for another that I had invariably borrowed from earlier
I am now working on a system whereby everything is set up to be paid monthly immediately after payday, so I know that the bills etc are covered, then what I have left is what I have to live on.
So far, so good!
glglglgl on BB - I got £5 this morning - every little helps!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Morning
I have tea, BB open (is too expensive at £1 a ticket at the mo..) and ready for a browse through the boards.
Productive day yesterday, put together a new bathroom cabinet with the help of my two mini men, an experience that I won't forget. Yes all the bits were there but why do men, whatever their age, rush through these things casting the instructions aside ? Had to take it all apart several times.
Painted bathroom ceiling before with a coating that says it stops all mould and mildew...we'll see. If it can cope with a 15 year olds mega showers for a month I'll be declaring it a wonder product. It was expensive but this bathroom is a real treat for me so I want it looked after.
On the money side the debit card got a bit of use yesterday with the cabinet and the paint, so I'm aiming for a minimum spend week, have £20 cash, see if I can keep to it.
Was playing with utility figures, pleasantly surprised that I'd worked the unit price out wrong on the leccy, so it should only be £167 compared to £198. If so I've reduced my leccy from £303 this time last year to £167. :j
Right what you all up to ?DC.

Coffeeeeeeeeeee
Why is it that I am the one who has to set an alarm, in order to make sure that those that NEED to get up, don't oversleep
Nope, I don't know either, but it is paper round day today, so of course I am the first one out of bed
The bathroom is sounding good, and I bet you are chuffed to bits with it all. I agree about paying the extra for the mould resistant layer - definitely a long term saving I reckon.
