  • rrrriiiigggghhhhttttt!

Am getting organised! however major things to do - they are only little but still...

    1) Keep your phone charger at work. That way you will only charge your phone at home! Maybe keep spare laptop cable and charge that here too? Although it normally runs off the mains the battery can survive about an hr.
2)See about talking to OH - might have spare ipod cable, otherwise keep ipod cable at work and can take home if I ever need to sync
    3) Reorganise the plugs around your bed - Why do I have a four port extension on just to power my alarm?!
**question!** if keeping my lamp OFF but the plug ON - is that wasting electricity?
    4) Keep faffing with bike seat - certainly hurting my knee less since raising the seat!! Might raise it just a smiggen more...
5)MMMAAAAKKKEEEEE fooods! Going for lasagna tonight! Wish me luck :| if i get this right - that is dinner (possibly even some lunches) for 4 meals!! NOMNOMNOM
    6) Get some microwave-safe dishes for work (even just take in a bowl!) - scarring has appeared since I started cooking with one of mine... worried about health

Otherwise nothing interesting happening in my life - just staring at information about what feels like a bajillion wedding locations in Scotland and feeling my eyes glaze over... I really have no idea where to start with all of this!

  • Thanks so much! I almost convinced myself I just "had" to have a moleskine one... 5 quid at best!!

All I need is some paper and a pen really but with a little booklet i am less likely to accidently think its an old receipt I need! :D

Yes, I think you are wasting electricity. I do it too though so I can't judge :A

Start at the beginning with the wedding gubbins. What do you want from the day? What kind of places do you like (Church, castle, hotel?) What MUST YOU HAVE and what can you do without?

If you're cycling in the dark you need lights and reflective gear as well as a helmet. Cyclists are hellish to see as a driver.

You seem really motivated at the moment, well done :T
  • Things Random has learned about cooking in the last 15 minutes:

    • Read how much beef you have taken out: 250g DOES NOT EQUAL 500g!!
    • I need a proper lasagna Dish.
    • I need to learn that if you DO take out the wrong amount of mince - lower all the portions to match... better to make small than puddle like mine is right now.
    • I can't cook - at all.
    • Pasta bake is easier
    • Lasagna works better if you make sure you have enough pasta sheets first...
    • If you DO NOT have enough pasta sheets - then it turns into a puddle of gunk
Lets see how it looks in 30 minutes - I think pictures shall be required from my phone!!
