Lets stop shall we for a moment? Got a cuppa? Fantastic. I don't have any biscuits for you sadly.

I have stop stressing about it. I am going to kick back and just... stop.

Can't fix it, cannot even make my target I have discovered (unless I borrow from next month...forgot about things I bought..).

I have listed a few books on amazon and hope they will sell. Otherwise I can't do anything else.

I have closed all my old web accounts that i started and am not using. I have planned my exercise regime of walking/cycling for the next few weeks and am now only needing to buy another set of jeans and get a set taken up by my parental figures then i am done on needing new clothes for a good few months - surprisingly only had to buy two pairs of jeans. One set of "going out jeans - 6.99 from ebay. I am looking into getting another set. I bought a set of combats online that cost me 16 quid. Wouldn't buy them again though - they aren't very nice..
I repaired an old set of combats with needle and thread - a rubbish job but means I can cycle in them. going to look to see if i can do a little repair job on a set of jeans to give them a little bit longer life span.
I am getting a family member to take up a set of jeans, and dug out an old pair i had forgotten about that fit perfectly now. Waiting to get the other jeans taken up, because I dunno if the new ones will need it or not.

Otherwise I plan to just relax a little and prepare for next month.

  • I swear it is always the same....

So I would like to join a gym - mainly to start getting myself to a level of fitness where running to work doesn't suddenly seem like a massive challenge.. or cycling... or walking... erm...

However - I managed to go "NO!" when I thought the nearest local gym was 23 pounds - I bought some basic gym stuff in preparation to go jogging maybe in the evenings, or cycling... or walking... but natural elements (and careless, disgusting dog walkers) put me off just exercising for the sake of doing it. So that was that.

Now I have discovered we have what they call "community use" school gym locally. The pricing structure is as follows:

3.40 per session (erk - even 3 times per month is over a tenner! Avoid)
Quarterly pass 31 pounds (hrm, just over 10 quid a month... cheaper than actually just pay as i go...)
    Yearly - 61.30.

:eek:Hold the phone. Stop the bus. Woah, woah woah.

61.30?:huh::huh: *rereads email* so that is just over 5 quid per month to use? Well it has to be MILES From my house right?

Wait, literally 5/10 minute walk? Walking home means i walk PAST it? Ok, what is the catch?

Oooooh - the opening hours. Because it is a school - its only for after-school and not open on Sundays!

    Cause I would go at 6/7am and/or on Sundays... wait...no I wouldn't.

All I can think is "is there a reason to not go?!" and then i go "do you have 61.30 lying around? Have you budgeted for this? Won't this just RUIN next months target? Can you actually promise you will go at least twice/three times a month to make it worthwhile?"

Grrrrh... Anyone else want to tempt money out of my wallet? What is that asda? You think i really DO need to buy a sandwich at lunchtime rather than have soup...? Huh...

  • So today my Debit card has given up the ghost. Quite literally.

Using my tesco clubcard vouchers, and attempted to pay with my debit card.

    Chip not detected.

Oh no... Tried again. Same message. Its dead - luckily the shopping was able to be signature verified - although I only owed 24 pence and scanned in all my vouchers so its not too bad.

However I have left to last me until my next card arrives? Tenner. With only a tenner at my disposal I have only one choice - I have to walk in. No if, no buts - walk in.

If your debit card is Halifax/BoS that might be why.....I know of some issues. My friends card isn't working as a debit card but works in the ATM.
  • Only two miles - nothing to complain about at all, and its something that I have wanted to do for weeks and weeks... but I just cannot get myself out of bed in time!

Well now its quite simple - I have to be up in time, else I cannot get to work in time :) with only ten pounds I cannot afford to take the train everyday, or even the bus. So i have to!

My mp3 player is out of battery, and I don't have the special charging cable here (its an ipod). So will be walking tomorrow with my mind as my only company... that is quite a scary thought actually :/

Yes it is! I just phoned up the people at the helpdesk and explained the problem - they said they will just send a new one out and expect it within 7 days... of course if it takes longer than Friday then I might be

Think how fit you'll be by the time your new card comes then :rotfl:

  • I like to think of it as EXTREME money-saving!

Doesn't help I managed to sprain my thigh somewhere on Friday... but they say that sitting still isn't good for them!

Might try to see how long I can make this tenner last me! Problem is that this weekend am meant to be camping (friends are being very, very, very nice to me and all I need to pay for is getting my own food!) and still need to buy something to eat - I have some emergency noodles, some UHT milk I keep as emergency and weetabixs... but for two days of running over hills with only that could make for hungry times...!
