i would have the mirena even if there was 'no need'. benefits outweigh the disadvantages (not sure what the disadvantages are?)

Lol, thanks, I might not risk it then. I would be devastated to put weight back on now. :)

Well done Louise - I was really confused for a minute because I was sure you'd already told us that yesterday, but then I remembered that was Sally! Feeling very blonde today. :o

I am always scared of the process of putting the coil "in":o
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Well done Lou........:j:j:j 3lbs....woo hoo.....keep up the walking.

Putting it in is just like having a smear.....not nice but not unbearable...it doesn't hurt at all. And doesn't have to be repeated for five years.

  • Evening all,

Well done on the loss Louise!

Another vote for the mirena coil here - excellent invention...

Could do with some help please? I need a birthday present for a girl I work with - only clues I have been given she paints her nails (designs and stuff) and likes pop music. I was thinking some nail care stuff but I know nah-thing (my nails grow, I bash them, they break off)...

Lenza, if she takes care of her nails, maybe something sort-of-related like a hand scrub and moisturiser set?
