I dont see the fuss, They are already building a fourth generation iPhone anyway, Give it 2 years or even less and the 3GS will be out of date.0

Good point but following that rule why bother with the 4 gen just wait for 5 gen iPhone , I don't think the iPhone 3gs is perfect but I do believe apple have had more of an influence on the mobile phone market than other phone makers given that they have only been in the business of phone production for little more than a couple of years.0

I would prefer to get a blackberry or O2 than to get an iphone. It's not that I don't like iphone but it really bothers me that if i broke it it's really hard to fixed in the repair shop. not unless if it's still covered by apple's warranty. Iphones are really sensitive phones.

Got mine yesterday and I'm thrilled to bits with it! It's such a smooth operating system and all those apps! I originally upgraded online but when I rang up yesterday to confirm it was being delivered they said it was out of stock! Well they said it was in stock when I ordered it. Anyway I cancelled my order and rang round O2 shops in my area, out of stock everywhere. I eventually tracked one down and went and collected it. Well worth the effort!

I just have the 8gb 3g and I love it. Wish I had gone for the 16gb as I have quickly filled it up with music and applications. If it wasn`t for the fact that I am doing a uni course in Sept, that I have to fund myself I would have got the new one! I have never been one for gadgets but this is amazing. It`s not very often that I can`t find this phone in the house as it`s never that far from me!0 -

As for Windows XP on iphone... What are you smoking? If there is only ONE thing that sets the iphones inferior hardware apart from the competition, it is the sublime OS (and I guess the app store). Having windows would make it unbearable and unreliable. If it weren't for those, it would be an utterly useless phone.
Yes, Windows on the iPhone would be absolutely horrid :P Although I could probably be happy with Windows 7. By the way, the iPhone has one of the most advanced mobile phone CPUs available. It could probably give most full-sized computers from 6-7 years ago a good run for their money. That Apple's software is very well written only makes it even faster than the competition than the hardware alone would imply.0 -
The reason why the iPhone looks amazing and works well is because it isn't on Windows!!! :rotfl:
Go and get another phone with the windows mobile os and see!
(Google Windows CE or Windows Mobile).

The iPhone is too big, and you look like a knob using it.
I haven't got an iPhone so how can I look like a knob using it?
It's horses for courses really, everyone has their faves and dislikes and they're all different, so let's just get it over and done with now:
"The <make & model of phone you hate> is too <what you dislike about it> and you look like <disparaging remark> using it"...
