Got mine yesterday and I'm thrilled to bits with it! It's such a smooth operating system and all those apps! I originally upgraded online but when I rang up yesterday to confirm it was being delivered they said it was out of stock! Well they said it was in stock when I ordered it. Anyway I cancelled my order and rang round O2 shops in my area, out of stock everywhere. I eventually tracked one down and went and collected it. Well worth the effort!

well, i walked into the o2 shop to buy one, and they told me they wouldnt sell me one unless THEY opened it first and bricked (activated) the phone on itunes. they also insisted that i had to top up £10 AND them inserting the pre-pay simcard you get with it. not a very good experience, considering i was about to hand over £450

so i was like  and she was like  but when i finally got my iphone home i was like

    appy daze! :rotfl:

    ooo i aint bothered .....lols
  • My son has an iPhone 3G. Nice phone and all that but some aspects of ownership are beginning to bother me and him. The first it has to be registered and activated through iTunes. Secondly, if the battery goes then you have send it back to Apple. I use a Blackberry and batteries are freely available from RIM or other retailers. Also I believe that at the end of the contract if you don't renew the you end up with a iPod.

The iPhone is too big, and you look like a knob using it.

Everyone I know that has an iphone can't leave the damn thing alone for more than 1 minute. I've even got a mate that sleeps with it on his chest!

They must do it to justify the unbelievable amount they spent to procure it!

As for Windows XP on iphone... What are you smoking? If there is only ONE thing that sets the iphones inferior hardware apart from the competition, it is the sublime OS (and I guess the app store). Having windows would make it unbearable and unreliable. If it weren't for those, it would be an utterly useless phone.
Try to imagine nothing ever existed...
