I'm good thanks feelie, a little tired, friends went at 1 and I went to bed at 2, then awake at 7!! I always wake at 7!!!

Got to go get the paper and get some air, back later :)

I was naughty and stayed up late :D I had good reason to though! Got to bed at about 2:30, leapt out of bed at 7:55 :) Been for a walk, didn't get wet today. And my mind was so preoccupied that the first time I walked past the spirits aisle, I didn't notice! Noticed it on the way back lol, the bottles of vodka do like to taunt me :rotfl:

In that case you won find out anything :)
Yeah well, I reckon if there is a higher being, he'd be more worried about us looking after ourselves rather than worrying about him or her all the time.
And I will find out something, is he not all forgiving and love everyone regardless of faith or creed?

tbh my higher power is all those i hold dear, not some elusive higher being. I get tired of being told i need a higher power. I am afraid it dosent get much higher than the ones i love, care for and need. They give you power to succeed in life not just for giving up drinking. I am a better less selfish person for having them in my life. You might think this is sentimental nonsense but it works for me, and thats all that concerns me.

beer your gumpy today... did you get oput the wrong side of bed?
could you say weather it was you or you "alcoholic" that didnt like reading it?

jayne i aint said anyone needs a higher power i dont think? soory if i have. i posted a relavant link as i know there a few people that read this bored and never post. AS i've said before this god thing, "hang up is reason a lot of alcoholics go to the grave without finding recovery. i aint saying thats going to be you or any1 here. but this is a life and death illness we're fighting on here. and before death there is a whole lota suffering

Me i was and still am prepared to go to any lenghts to save my life, if that means beliving in some power or other greater that myseelf then i'll do it. i suffered and made those around me suffer enough.

its step 2 before step1 ans that dont really work like normal stairs we dont walk up them like that,do we?

Im off out for a while i got 2 dead bodies in my car that i need to take over to my m&d's and hide in the garage so the cats dont get them. see you later.

Lewt with all due respect to you you constantly go on about people needing a higher power in order to "recover". As i always say to you, well done, your higher power is helping. Not everyone needs a higher power. The link you provided talks about needing spirituality to recover. The fact that being agnostic will not help you, you need to overcome that. I dont want to i love being agnostic. So in all fairness yes you do mention needing a higher power quite often. I just get this idea you dont think I cherish life as much as you. I do. What you have to realise there are many faiths, and not all us share yours. Please i am not being rude to you just honest.
