    Hi all

Al, I'm so sorry to hear things not too good for you.

Micheleen, I made it through the dreaded 5 o'clock! Nearly went and bought wine but didn't so now feeling very proud and sipping a saintly lemonade. I could never have even got this far if I hadn't found this place and all of you. Thank you.

I think by moving it elsewhere it would alienate a lot of people. I very often get PM`s from people who dont wish to post on the thread and never will, they just want a chat in the privacy of their pm box, a lot of people on here get help from just reading through the posts and we would lose a lot of them if the whole thing was moved elasewhere

with the blessing of Martin and the team this thread will run for as long as it is useful to people on MSE :)

with regards to another off site chat room for you all, the suggestion has been made and can be considered,

the Boots thread people decided to set one up because they wanted to chat about other subjects and some of them had got very close, however the chatty posts in this thread are different from any other thread as they are supportive to some people even when they are just chit chat, this is a 'self help thread' and sometimes all the help people need is to chat about something entirely different, or to read a page of chat from their friends :)
live chat wouldn't be the same as you could only read it at the time it was posted,

but if any of you do decide to set up a chat group, then I suggested to the Boots people that they ask the people on the techy board for some advice

    take care all :)

    And cleaned out as well.

Just fed myself, stomach just about accepting food again.

Best advert for putting children off alcohol, me after a session.

I really need to get my counter going again. Cigs I just stopped, patches for a couple of weeks, that was it. Why is this so much harder:confused:

Maybe you need to try approaching it in a different mindframe Al :) I'm not going to get all psych(ologist/iatrist) about it, never worked for me anyway, but the 'how' you approach something can be as important as the 'why' or even the '!!!!!!' ;)

You still deserve a :grouphug: though :D

If you read Glad's post Number 496 it should make things a bit clearer.
