Whilst having chats with my brother in law, this thread was mentioned. He wondered why it hadn't gone a stage further

He thinks there should be another site, more secure, to move on to. Away from the trolls, Which would allow more honesty.

My opinion is no, but for a balanced view, thought I'd ask.

I feel, very, very sick and very, very stupid. Not looking forward to talking to Mrs Mac later. Hoping Mrs Macs brother hasn't called her, if he has, don't go there:eek:

It might not feel like it at the moment but its probably a really good thing. At least now you wont have to hide anything from them and thats got to be a good thing at the end of the day :grouphug:

There are sites out there for this sort of discussion,but I thought that was the point ,most like the fact that it's here....................or do you mean setting one up

You could for instance set up a chatroom,have your own moderators and therefore not allow 'trolls' in.......................is that the sort of thing you mean

Yes Traf, that was what he was saying. He said He'd set one up if I wanted.

Things is, I don't have an issue with being honest on here, or posting my deepest darkest secrets. So I don't think it would help me.

Might stop me sending emails to the entire family at 23:15. At some point that is going to come back and get me.

good point ,a sort of let off steam/stress/bouce around ideas room where you can let things out that maybe ten minutes later you wouldn't want in permanent print ......................

we could all do with a room like that I think ..........I have my own already;)

I think by moving it elsewhere it would alienate a lot of people. I very often get PM`s from people who dont wish to post on the thread and never will, they just want a chat in the privacy of their pm box, a lot of people on here get help from just reading through the posts and we would lose a lot of them if the whole thing was moved elasewhere

I don't think it's a case of moving anything ,more getting a side room,so instead of PMs,people could chat live while still viewing the thread ..............but it's only if anyone wanted it obviously
