Hey Jayne, I'm sorry you are finding it hard today - keep going, just take it a minute at a time. We are here if you want to rant and rave at us

How many days is it now?
And how are you today Al Mac, getting your work done?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Found this thread recently....but first time I've posted....
You are doing better than me hun....I've given in today and gone and bought the very drink I know I shouldn't:mad: So...now I just have to make sure that I don't go OTT...i.e. try to drink sensibly:rolleyes:
Although..I have managed to stop myself for the past 3 days...is that something to be proud of??? Actually I AM proud that I didn't get a drink on Thursday...because I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO...angry, frustrated, upset at all sorts of things going on (I know they are my triggers) ....and I was SO ready to get a drink....but I thought 'if I get one tonight...I won't be finished until it's gone...' so I am quite proud of myself for that...that and one of the women in the offy just cannot handle someone paying by debit card...if I came across her I might well have killed her:p
I know I need to get a grip on this....the stupid thing is..I am intelligent person..I KNOW what my triggers are....but I still give in to them at times..or 'justify' my drinking....:o
I hope you and others continue to do well...it's a journey...not a destination..I am sure that saying is meant for something else...but I think it is quite apt.;)
Best wishes XX0 -
the spirit of this post....
Some of you are further along the path to not drinking that I am...I hope I've not upset anyone by saying I've given in?0 -
Thank you for your best wishes Chris
Feel free to stick around and talk if you like, sometimes letting it out helps
I hope you can learn to deal with your triggers and that you can either control the drink or give it up.
Take care xStay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Not at all Chris
I've been posting on this thread since the beginning, and I've been to rock bottom whilst posting.
I admire your honest with admitting you've given in, maybe now is a good time to think about giving it up completely?
