I'm having to take it one moment at a time now. Can someone remind me why I can't drink?

I rarely drank before 2pm - and it was only 2 or 3 times a week that I'd drink from 2pm till 4am or so. And I only drank 2 or 3 bottles of wine or something, not much.

you must of had a moment of clarity else you wouldnt of started to read this thread....

i never drank in the day...

but i drove the kids to school on top of a litre of vodka the night/morning before and 3 hrs sleep

so just because i didnt pick up in the day was still sloshed

The only reason you can't drink, is if you don't want to. Its all down to you in the end.

Its up to you FG, if your asking us for reasons not to drink, you already know them, if you want to stop you have to want to, even after all this time, you still have to want to. I still want to not drink, thats a good enough reason for me.

my moment was someone got really drunk at a work due last week and showed themselves up and i thought 1. if i had gone it would have been me. 2. frank god it wasnt me. Not I hope they are okay or that i was apalled at what they had said, i found it funny coz have been there so many times. And that saddend me i was enjoying the gossip coz wasnt me.

feeling good:) hun i know i will be crawling up the walls at about 5.30pm tommorrow nite. Bad time 5.30 -7.30ish my i deserve a drink - time after hard day at work:) Had a good sesh last nite although no hangover can manage until tommorrow the temptation i think:( who knows but i do want to stop.

Jayne, chocolate, didn't touch it myself until I gave up, helps replace the sugar Try counting your units, have a look at the back of a bottle and see how many you drank! I used to do my weekly recommended amount in a day
