I thought you couldn't use your free points on a Wednesday to get 2 tickets for free?My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |
Total £4151.44 | £2900.30 of £7051.74 paid off since diary started October 2024.0 -
I went to see a movie on a Tuesday as it was normally a cheap ticket day, I was offered the chance to get the Premier Card for 22p and told the cheap ticket had been done away with because of the introduction of the Premier Card.
I paid in total £7.31
I asked if I could use the card against my purchase of that day's cinema ticket but I was told no.
Was I shortchanged?? Please advise
I haven't registered the card as yet.
I have found out that if I go on a Tuesday I could get 15% off the price of a ticket (normal ticket price is £7.10) so that would bring it down to near the price I used to pay.0 -

The 22p thing would have been the extra a £1.99 card cost on top of your ticket, including the 25% (not 15%) discount you'd receive for using the card. Essentially you paid 22p for the card and the normal price for your ticket this time, but in future your ticket on a Tuesday will be discounted by £1.77, thus recouping the 22p about 8 times over.0 -
if you pay £10 for highest card price you get 1000 points and double points on purchases at cinema within 1st month of joining so it gives you enough points for 1 film with 200 points left over so all your doing is paying £2 for card and every time you go your earning points which you would be getting nothing back if didnt have this card so in my opinion it is well worth getting 1 of these cards it will save you money in long run !!!!!!:D:D:D0
