It certainly adds up quickly for a family, 3 adults and 1 child. The £1.99 card is a bargain.

Do you accumulate points if you have Admit One tickets? We can purchase cheaper Admit One tickets from John Lewis as an employee perk and then hand over the ticket at the Odeon counter. Would I get points for that?

It is great as we've collected over 3000 points already and don't go that often.
They won't be getting our business next week though, having to see Alice elsewhere

thank goodness for common sense :)
so a few more points will be added this week...
  • I think its really good. I brought a card for £1.99 when it first came out in my local cinema a few months ago. You get points for food and drink you purchase aswell as the tickets themselves. Hubby recently went with his cousin and a friend and they both used the card to clock up points. When we went to see the lovely bones a few days ago we had managed to clock up enough points to get a free ticket and as hubby has a CEA card which got me in free anyway we both got in for free :rotfl:

I bought a card a few weeks ago and was told at the time that you also get £2 off your ticket price on a Tuesday so the card will pay for itself if you buy the cheaper one... However nobody has mentioned this on here and I can't see it on their site so just wondered if anybody has tried this, if it's true then the savings would add up.

The £2 off on Tuesdays is being trialled in a few cinemas (the new one in Gateshead for sure) and they plan to roll it out to all cinemas if it does well :)

Absolutely rubbish if you ask me.

Need to go 12 times to get a free ticket! If it was 5 it would be worthwhile.

Assuming you go by yourself and never buy any food or drinks, in which case a Cineworld unlimited card is more suited to you.

For a couple who share food & drink they'll earn a free ticket in 3-4 visits depending on how expensive tickets are locally. For a family or large group it's even less.
