Paypal email mis-spelled - is it legit?

The spelling is appalling, but tbh the message itself isn't anything unusual as far as I can see.
If there was a link to click on, it would be obvious spam. The fact that it tells you to log in to your account means it would be a pretty ineffective piece of spoof mail!
If you have only told them M, and not your full first name, that would explain why their template refers to M... although...
'Upon checking your account M it shoes that, acceptable documents include utility bills, a bank or credit card statement, or a health or car
insurance bill.'
What a mess!My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

Dear PayPaI Customer,...
Paypal will always address you by your real name.
Have you noticed how the URL doesn't actually point to where it says it does?
Have you noticed how most of the page (except the login id & password fields) you arrive at by by clicking on the rogue link is just an image of the paypal site?
(most of the links don't work. e.g. "sign up" at the top, "About us" at the bottom, etc
As already stated, it's a scam!
Also a very good example as already stated never to click on links in emails that you think go to your paypal account. Access your paypal account directly from your browser by typing in the correct address."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -

They did address me with my full name i just omitted it on here, but as they used my real name, why have they used M? Well i think it looks dodgy even though there is no links, i wish paypal and eBay would hurry up and confirm it is a scam.Owed out = lots. :cool:0 -
