You have a remarkable ignorance of your own history, as I assume you are British.

LOL, considering you're living in Britain you're certainly 'anti Britain'...... if we're that bad then why not bugga off back to the "you-esss-of-ehhh"....

I am Scottish and think you'll find we're not exactly British...... Live in the UK but that's about the lot.

Ive had this when there was £20 left in a ATM when I was on a night out. I pocketed the money & bought a round or two of drinks, but I felt really guilty.
Not that long after the same thing happened while I was shopping. I called after the woman who had left it & then chased after her. She looked at me like I was something off her shoe, snatched the money & walked away with no thanks at all!
I think it would depend on the amount of money involved - I would pocket £20, but dont think I could sleep easy if it were £300 so would have given it back.

I had a similar occurrence several years ago. I stood behind a guy at an ATM, he muttered and cursed and took out the card and strode off. When he had gone 20 yards or so the machine spat out some money, so I called after him.

He acted very strangely, he came back, looking very furtive, everything about him and his body language looked suspicious, he snatched the money from the machine without a thank you and virtually ran off.

I am pretty sure he was using a stolen card, that was the only explanation I could give for his very odd behaviour. When I stood in the queue behind him he took the card and shot off possibly thinking he would not get any money.

Oh, he has some silent vendetta against me, don't worry.

Oh, he has a vendetta against anyone and everyone, especially those who have respect for democratic systems. His revelation of being a sweaty explains why he as that huge chip on his shoulder. We all know how the sweaties are sooooo hard done by in the UK. The sooner he ***** off back home, the sooner we can build that wall back up to keep him there ! :D
