I have found a Jamaica Ginger cake lurking in the cupboard. Any suggestions on how to use it up (apart from eating it as it is lol)
I was thinking of lining the base of a tin and making a cheesecake. Any other ideas?

Second for with butter, yum indeed, but also if you've got a tin of mandarin oranges around, it's gorgeous if you slice it in half lengthways a couple of times (so you have a couple of layers) and layer it with mandarin oranges and squirty cream . This works with tinned pineapples too. If you're feeling really decadent you can grate some chocolate on top...0

Slice and line bottom of bowl, drain tin of pears, lightly chop and scatter on top, sprinkle over Stones ginger wine. Top with custard (I make my own but you can use ready made or birds powder, top with cream and some crystalised ginger if you have it. Blooming lovely£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
