Just had the same letter. My existing Tesco Platinum Visa card gives 1 point per £2 spent outside Tesco, as does the World Mastercard that they're planning to replace it with. No change there, but I'm not sure what the position is within Tesco because I've always used Clubcard Plus there.

I hhave an even older purple clubcard which prob gives the best points, but have really stopped using it as no longer bothering to get large numbers of points (offers no good now) so I use a cheaper interest rate card, and also shop elsewhere more these days. So I was quite pleased to get the free points offer. But it still annoys me that they try and pretend its better for us when it almost certainly is worse.

Points totals uti 29th Jan - vchrs anytime between the 4th & 16th. With a margin of error (post problems) of a few days, if you still haven't had them by the 19th - ring Clubcard - they'll check your address, and arrange a reissue to arrive early March.

There is currently an offer for 3 online shops over £50 at tesco via code giving 200 points extra per trip and a bonus 400 when 3 have been completed.
After on-line checkout receipt shows 200 bonus points but when shopping delivered bonus points are not on receipt just a £2 voucher deducted from shopping total.
After checking clubcard statement points don't show there either. After complaining to Tesco got a very nice email apologising and giving me the 200 points and if I let them know when 3 shops completed will award bonuses as well.
Therefore this offer gives you £6 off as well as 1000 points if you check and complain mind you I still don't think Tesco should be advertising an offer that doesn't work!!
So check your clubcard statement if you have used these codes don't know how many this error will benefit but good luck

This is the same error that often happens in-store with extra points vouchers/coupons.
Always, always check receipts.

Hope this is in the correct place.was given a free goody bag at tescos pharmacy yesterday in it (apart from lactose free milk splender and vitamins and money off vouchers) was a voucher for 100 extra points on a £5 pharnacy spend. have put this on freebies board also
