Tesco Clubcard Points Bonus Discussion

I have been saving points for nearly four years - unfortunately just as the 1000 point codes were finishing!
Anyway I have always phoned and asked to have the near expiry vouchers rolled over as we're really wanting to get flights or a holiday with them and there are 6 of us.
I phoned the other day to be told that you can not do that. After some to-ing and fro-ing she told me she will roll over all the vouchers issued to me in 2008 but this will not be able to be done again.
Has anyone else been told this? Eventually she told me that this is a new policy but I'd like to know if everyone has been told this or just me.

When i needed some vouchers rolling over, i rang up and told them i had lost them. They checked to see if they had been used (obviously hadnt) and re issued them to me on the following statement.0

Hi all im wondering if you can give me some advice. Ive never really bothered with clubcard points but I notice you can get the vouchers that will be great for the kids.
When I log in to my account we have about 600 points so I can see that I can order £5 worth of points - £20 worth of vouchers for folly farm.
I also have £& worth of vouchers they have already sent out to me. My question is how do I ... or can I even exchange these for vouchers? and how do people save so many points if the vouchers are sent out every 4 months. Do you have to order your vouchers online before a certain date.
I have had a good look on the website and a little confused so any help would be appreciated xxx0 -

I use my clubcard vouchers for days out vouchers so I might be able to help.EmmaLouiseStar wrote: »When I log in to my account we have about 600 points so I can see that I can order £5 worth of points - £20 worth of vouchers for folly farm.EmmaLouiseStar wrote: »I also have £& worth of vouchers they have already sent out to me. These are the vouchers you use to purchase your days out tokens.
Work out from this link how much the cost of entry will be. Then work out how much in clubcard vouchers you will need to convert into daysout tokens.
IE; one adult and two children is £7.50 plus (£6.50x2) = £20.50 entrance fee. I would then buy £20 worth of daysout tokens and pay the 50p cash. To purchase £20 days out tokens is £5 clubcard vouchers.
You can buy the days out tokens using the barcode on the clubcard voucher, here or send off for them in the post.
All clubcard vouchers have an expiry date, so try to use up the short dates first.
If I've missed anything or it's not clear just ask.

These points will be converted to clubcard vouchers and sent out in your next statement.

Thanks for explaining :T
I understand now and it is a really good deal when you exchange for vouchers isnt it. I think I will be using my clubcard much more from now on xx0 -
Forgot to say days out tokens are only valid for six months, so order as you need them. Any excess I have returned to Tescos and they have put them back on my clubcard.

With the last offer of 500 points for CDs back in the summer they never showed on my points balance- but on the statement they DID show, so I wouldn't worry until you get the Feb statements through as they'll probably go directly onto that.
I hope so.
I bought a CD that came with 500 bonus points and there's certainly been no sign of them on the till receipts with the updated points balance at the bottom.
If they aren't on Feb's statement I'll contact them.0
