How do you convert your vouchers? I tried doing a magazine subscription earlier, so got to the checkout and put my £1 clubcard voucher in, but it only took £1 off. I thought you were meant to get 4x the value? Or am I missing something?

    Thanks! :D

The offers in this week's email are fine - but to suggest that the vouchers are worth 4 times face value is ridiculous. They're worth, in reality about twice face value because pretty well all the deals are priced at about twice their real value.

Magazine subscriptions are offered at a reduced price. (eg: BBC Wildlife £11.50 from Clubcard, £31.00 normally)

    Nearer 2 x value than 4 x value
  • If you convert them to restaurant vouchers, you would normally pay the same as everybody else. However if you convert your vouchers for tokens at 4x the value eg a £5 voucher would get £20 knocked off the restaurant bill (except for drinks).
Thank you for reading this message.
  • Did anybody every ascertain whether the Tesco Clubcard Plus card is giving any extra points since they started giving double points to everybody else?
Thank you for reading this message.
  • I can confirm that its now 3 points :j

    Hi remrats,

I got the same message as you on my DVD purchase, but the FAQs on the Tesco website came up with this:

    "You asked:
Why have my points not been added to my clubcard?
    Our answer:
Clubcard points will be added automatically once an order has been placed.

Any additional points through coupons or promotions are added in bulk before your next Clubcard statement is sent out in the post."

So I guess we have to trust that the points will be added later.
  • Re the CD/DVD offer - please, what does "pre-order" mean in this context??

I think it means ordered prior to the actual date of release.

I am ordering a CD under this offer, but it doesn't say anything about an extra 500 points, so have we just to trust that the points will be added?
