I love rhubarb, and Pile it high rhubarb and orange meringue pie is one of my favourite Delia recipes.

I have a rhubarb and ginger jam recipe that I'm looking forward to when the rhubarb in the garden is ready.

    Hi all

Have done a search but nothing came up so,

Does anyone have a recipe for a Rhubarb Cake?
Or anything else yum that uses Rhubarb? We're a bit crumbled out.

    Thanks all,

That's a great link carrie, so I'll add this thread to the main rhubarb thread so it can be found easily.

I don't have the magazine to hand, but there's a lovely sounding recipe in the BBC Good Food magazine (May I think) for individual jellies made with coconut milk topped with poached rhubarb.

Rhubarb and date pie is lovely or what about rhubarb and date chutney?
Lighty ppoached rhubarb in orange jelly.

    quick question -

bought some rhubarb as it looked so tasty in the shop, but can't think what to do with it!!!

got some puff pastry and I wondered about making rhubarb tartlets - would I poach the rhubarb first?

Also, would apples go with rhubarb in a crumble?????

    thanks xxx

Yes, apples would be good with rhubarb. I made a delish crumble a few weeks ago with chunks of crystalised ginger in as well.

My rhubarb is going great guns at the moment, so was planning on roasting/stewing/basically cooking some-to have with yoghurt in the morning. If I made up a batch-how long will it keep in the fridge? planning on cooking with some sugar, and maybe some cinnamon, or something else, not really sure, maybe vanilla
    Thanks
