LOL. I'm still waiting on Lowell getting back to my mother about the whole statue barred thing.

I bet they are wishing they never took the debt over from 1st credit, now that they wont ever see a penny of it.

LOL, yea well the law is there for a reason and Limitation Act clearly confirms your mums debt is statute barred so GUTTED to Lowell..... have you seen my letter to them, I sent it yesterday......

    Check the last post!

Lets see how they handle my sarcastic letter! The thing is I have to be careful cos i'm doing all these letters for people but then I can't send the same one off for my own issues so have to think of a whole new approach - I though with Lowell i'd take the sarcastic approach.... :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi NID,

Yes Sygma, hope it's a good card!!! when I called told she had to do further checks...wonder what's going to be on my credit file now!! she then said will send credit agreement despite the fact that I had sign electronically on line but because of further checks has to be send & sign again. Did ask about credit limit & APR but unable to tell me:confused:

Nice one - well done mate! They will tell you limit and apr when the card comes.....

I guess what they are doing is just confirming what you've told them and they will now do the fraud checks etc - bear in mind you'll get 3 entries on your CRA from Sygma (Sygma Bank, Creation Finance and Sygma/Creation Fraud check)

Keep us posted and again, well done :T :T :T

I got this card after reading about it on here, needed a card I could do a balance transfer on.

Got accepted and did do BT for 6 months.

However I am not happy with Sygma's Customer Service. Very limited on how to pay. I tried via website but it kept failing. So I phoned and a very ned sounding person took my details and said oh yeah thats gone through. Clearly hadnt and still hasnt till this date. I eventually managed to pay when website started working again.

Whenever you phone they dont sound like the nicest people. I wouldnt want to miss a payment anyway thats for sure.

Im paying off my balance and closing the card ASAP! Even before the 6 Months are up, next month hopefully. :naughty:

Apart from the fiddly sign in I think the online payment is the quickest there is, even on a weekend. Customer service phone line seems ok every time I've rang up, and thankfully none of that 'have a ncie day' falseness.:j

Called them at lunchtime..... no decision as yet, should hear from them in the next few days, they say.

Is this good or bad?
Capital one £200 - bal nil. Aqua £350 - bal nil
    Vanquis limit [STRIKE]£250[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£750[/STRIKE] £1250 - bal £450. Nat West overdraft limit - £300, unused. JD Willaims limit [STRIKE]£400 [/STRIKE] [STRIKE] £600 [/STRIKE] £900 - bal £90.
Very limit £400 - balance £329 (buy now pay 2011!)
  • I applied 3 weeks weeks ago and have heard nothing. Says to me I've been declined and I'm not going to chase them up on this.
Should have my credit report in a few days to see what's wrong as I should be fine - 2 rejections says something is up.

Just rang them and been turned down

I queried it and he suggested I check Equifax, told him I already had and that I was aware that they had done the 3 x checks on me.

He's said that he will arrange for "someone to call me this afternoon, regarding this"

    Would this be the underwriters?

Any do's and dont's to say to them.

    Thanks in advance.
