how do i find out my box serial number0

Hi, the 5 attempts is not a problem! The still works it just stays locked too it's network (Ive had two do this, out of six the other four unlocked easly) all that happens is that after five trys you are unable to unlock by code input on the key pad - go to a shop and get it done through a plug in cable £5 in Eastbourne. There is also a download on this site for unlocking program. Czb..valiant23 wrote:MERRY CHRISTMAS

My son had a phone for xmas that was locked to Orange. After searching the internat and considering paying a couple of quid to unlock I managed to find this great site:
http://www.trycktill.com/eng/unlock_swe.asp
Just follow the VERY simple directions and within 5 minutes your phone will be open to any network.
WARNING
You are limited to 5 attempts at inputting the code. I would suggest if you fail twice you should check the information you give is correct and/or ask someone else to try it for you.

the box serials are called this because when nokia released unlocking equipment to service centers the dongle that pluged into the computer to stop any unautherised use was also known as a box and each one had its own serial number, so that nokia could block stolen/cracked serial box numbers. each model can be unlocked by different box serials depending on which service center is doing it.Doppleganger wrote:So what will? - looking at the box it came in?
