My son had a phone for xmas that was locked to Orange. After searching the internat and considering paying a couple of quid to unlock I managed to find this great site:

Just follow the VERY simple directions and within 5 minutes your phone will be open to any network.

WARNING

You are limited to 5 attempts at inputting the code. I would suggest if you fail twice you should check the information you give is correct and/or ask someone else to try it for you.

Thanks Valiant23, the site worked a treat - I can now stick a free o2 sim card in my rubber shelled Nokia and take it out when mountain biking, in case of emergencies! Better than risking my 6230 ;D

You can't unlock T610s with just a code.

You need to connect to a server (via a cable and pc).

If you only have one to unlock it will be cheaper to take it to an "expert", as the cable and access to the server will cost more than the £15 or so you will be charged to have it done.
