well, Lou found me a lovely little house really near the college, it would be fab

A very rough calculation showed that if all courses ran, (12 hours teaching per week) across both organisations, each term, I would earn £240 per week before tax for the teaching. The problem is, they are very fragmented - some morning, some afternoon, some early evening, some evening. I wouldn't be able to move around my office job hours to completely fit around the teaching. There's also the issue of 'if' the courses run - that's the uncertainty - they all need a minimum number to run.
ooooooooohhhh, I never thought I'd hear myself say this but working 9-5 again sounds like it would be quite relaxing!! I'd be able to wake up and just think 'work' or 'not work' rather than work? not work? teaching? not teaching? office? which teaching centre? teacher training? which course? daytime? nightime? Saturday? :rotfl:

I'll be interested to see how my sister has got on in Canada when she gets back in the next few days. It was a joint holiday/job hunting expedition. She goes back again in October with my Mum and Dad and brother. My mum has never been out of the country, so it will be a bit of an experience for her - she worries over the slightest thing so a transatlantic flight is going to keep her occupied! It took my Dad nearly a year to get his passport as he's Canadian, it was such a palava with forms and red tape.
