Timeshare in Spain

I am relieved you have decided against timeshare. There is absolutely no benefit whatsoever in owning one. Trust me, I used to own one and desperately tried to sell it. I ended up not paying the maintenance and the company repossesed. It was the only way to get shot of it.
I would go as far as to say anyone who was to buy timeshare these days is completely stupid. I include myself in that category too as we should have known better but bought into the dream......................
Just stay in a nice hotel or apartment. These days with the internet and sites like tripadvisor you can do so much research on a hotel/resort before booking. You go, have a lovely break and come home with absolutely no obligation.0
