Just the last time I used Nationwide to prove a point, I was told it makes no difference, LR is what should be being used.
According to LR, Wales, East, North West, West Midlands and South East all increased last month.

Why then do they seem so miserable ?
If not a little ANGRY ?
I want none of the things listed. The reality is we have them. That's life.
Maybe I "feel" miserable due to the fact that not being a property bull. I didn't maximise the golden opportunity to profit from BTL and take early retirement. All the tax revenues generated by the City of London in the good times have been squandered away.
All we have as an economy is a huge overhang of debt. That I as a taxpayer will be party to paying off. As will my son who in the next few years will be joining the ranks of those looking for work.
Meanwhile property remains a key topic of conversation. When in reality its had its day and there are more important issues to be addressed.0 -
Bears are prone to knee jerks. Thier simplistic processing would by typicfied by this;
unemployment rising = prices must fall.
Or - rising oil = catastrophe, instead of - rising oil = switch to electric cars, ho hum.0 -
The Bulls are all out today. Must be day release or something"For those who understand, no explanation is necessary. Those who don't understand, dont matter."0

Oh I seeeeeee. So when we want to say prices are going up, even though the overall trend is down, then we're allowed to point to individual regions. But it doesnt count going the other way.
And - wait for it waiti for it:
Its a lagging indicator.

Phew.
I've always recommended to look at local areas rather than UK averages
The post was in response that we should look to LR instead of Nationwide, which I provided the facts for:wall:
