what the orange rendition dept have offered me

They have offered me 1000 texts a month and 120 mins (I am mainly a text user). No insurance, or data/MMS. I will try for them, the phone I wanted is Nokia 6280 (3G), which I can get for free I think.
I have been their customer for 9 years!!! I think that makes no difference to ther service I get from them though!
I have noticed that thier service has got MUCH worse over the years.0 -
How long did they extend the 0800's for ?0

But more to the point, orange retentions offered me the 750 minutes and 250 texts for £22 and a V3i (or V3 and a £50 credit but the V3i was better value). I took the deal becuase they also agreed to extend the 0800 numbers free given to me earlier. I am by no means a big spender and was on £30 for 200 minutes and 50 texts and rarely go over the minutes.

Hi
I've actually found out that this phone is not availble yet with orange and they may not be releasing it.

Useful ! I wasn't successful in negotiating the upgrade - for years I'd paid £17 a month for 60 mins then used 0800 and Telco. I tried to upgrade round about the time they started charging for 0800 but they wouldn't give me a half decent phone as I was an "infrequent" user. I ended up having to go to onestopphoneshop and get a free Samsung 500 200 orange x network mins and 3000 weekend x network for the first 6 months. After all the cashbacks etc its costing me about £12 a month over the 12 month deal but of course I had to change my number0 -
i got 500min/texts 30pound credit to next phone bill plus weekend call, half price for 3 month 45pound, and friend upgraded last week got 750x net mins plus 500 text, 20 pound credit, and the new sony 810i, for 35 pound, i phoned orange and asked why he got the better deal only days after i,d upgraded, i was put to 4 people last being supervisor, thought i,m on a winner here, was told the way they do there upgrades is all to do with your loyalty points, its worked on the last 3 months of your contract, and how long you,ve been with them, plus the type of package your already on. he wouldn,t budge to give me the same tarrif, i then tried to add a magic number to my account, hence 15p to a nominted orange number for upto a hours call, couldn,t get this either, even tho i,d taken out the 18 month contract. the terms and conditions explained why, the moral of the story make sure you know what you want before you upgrade, do your homework, stick them out, then be happy with what you got and don,t worry to much what others have got0

lol!! its actually RETENTION!!! not RETNETION lol
sorry but the fact that you were correcting someone and still got it wrong made me laugh
anyways on the subject matter of the contract, you should def check out sites like https://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk and https://www.buymobilephones.net before signing up, if you move to a different network you can "port" your number over and so keep the same number.
well worth a look in0
