Slowed totally down on this challenge. Nothing happening on amazon. Have a few things listed on ebay, they end in 4 days, one bid on a lower priced item and a few watchers. Sending some cd's to magp1e today. And close'ish to withdrawal on scratchies...

What day are we on now out of the 100?
    DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!
Proud to have dealt with my debts!
  • Nothing yet today, but I've worked out that I've got around £30 in cheques coming so hopefully can knock those off the total soon. Also I have £16 in loose change so will get that paid into the bank before the weekend! Looking forward to starting to make a dent in my debt! x

  • £8.85 cheque received, and £5 from copper jar! So that takes my total up to £265.81. Bit behind where I should be but still more than if I weren't doing the challenge! :D x

Don't worry, I'm well behind, I've paid off 26.58% :rotfl:

Still, I'm not sure I'd have done that much if it weren't for being in this challenge, so its better than nowt! Well done, you're doing so well tirlittan :T x

    Thanks Spykey.
The challenge definitely motivates you to find every avenue of making money. I need to sell my old phone, which is worth about £40 and waiting for ebay listings to end, not many watchers though...And I guess we still have over a month.

Yep its still a relatively long time left in the money-making scheme of things!

I don't think realistically I'll hit the £1000 but if I can hit 50% I'll be happy, which it only another £240, which is under £10 a day, I don't think that's too bad.

    We'll get there! :j x

Hellooooo.... don't worry about not hitting the £1000 mark, I haven't managed it yet :D This time around, the bulk of my money came from a surprise windfall/gift for birthday, otherwise I'd only be at about £200 :rotfl: Managed another £15 worth over the past couple weeks by way of some pet sitting but I need to pay out for a new passport, so the 'everything else' spending is taking another hit soon. :o To break even, I need to generate about another £500 between now and the end of the year - I can see nearly £30 in cashback accrued and I'm at £7.20 in free scratchies, so I must try harder!

Keep going, folks, it's not about hitting the £1000, it's about seeing your debts falling or your savings rising. :j
