  • nykmedia, thanks for the reminder, we go £20 for our anniversary the other week! Plus I managed to save £7 by using a BOGOF voucher at a restaurant, usually wouldn't have bothered with it, but seeing as I have to watch the pennies now it's something I'm getting used to.

Also, we've not been having our usual takeaways for the past two weeks, I've been making my own curries/kebabs/fish and chips which has saved us... wait for it.... £30! I can't believe how much we'd spend in one night... sometimes up to £20 for two of us.

    Also £52.40 from Quidco.

So £109.40 in total for the past two weeks. Got a few things to list on eBay but I think we're doing well!

    xx

£14 for clothes I left to be sold in a shop in 2006!!! Haven't been back to the shop since as moved away, but friend still lives close by and went to sort it out for me. How fab is that!! And 12p in interest to add. :)

  • Right!

While not an official entrant, I've been doing some play-at-home fun on this challenge and just giving an update!

I didn't think £1000 would be that difficult for me personally, so chose a bigger target - to clear my 2nd credit card - £1900 worth!

Hopefully I shouldn't be too far off by the end of this week. Total is £810 from Ebay sales, £210 in extra work I've done, and I have approximately another £750 in Ebay sales to come at a guess, by the end of the week. £1770 in total!

Although, the downside is that I've practically sold everything in my home that isn't nailed down lol :) But, its bought my debt free date forward by another six months though so it's all good!

Good luck to everyone else in this!

  • Well i am so close to reaching this target i can hardly control myself lol :j

Another £28.54 from ebay today and £8 mystery shopping. I am now upto a whooping £919.54:D so only just over £80 to go. Majority of this has been on ebay sales although also i have done quite a few mystery shops and sold some books on greenmetropolis, got some expenses paid at work sold some items at my local dress agency and also got some cashback from Quidco.

Ok i am a little bit overexcited now but i have done it!! When i first signed up to this challenge i didn't think there was any possible chance i could make £1000 and i am quite new to this forum as i only had my LBM 2 months ago. I thought i would get to about £500 which i figured was better than nothing:D

Yesterday by pure fluke i received an unexpected payment of £171.60 which has took my total so far upto £1'091.14:j

It just proves i can achieve things if i really put my mind to it. Good luck to everyone else in the challenge and remember every little helps. Anything you make from this challenge is more than you had before:D

Another £5.18 for selling some cd's to magp1e, only received the cheque today. Also went down £10 a month on my mobile contract so that's good news. Not counting it in on anything though.
