Credit card statement came today: £20 ex-gratia payment from Lloyds from them due to them messing up my account. Handy as this is the debt I'm paying off with money from this challenge :T
  • Hi there,

Haven't got anything new to add to my total and I've just been made redundant. Absolutely gutted :( We're clearing out the office tomorrow and the boss has said we can take whatever the liquidators don't. Fingers crossed for something good for ebay.

I could cry - its been the most horrendous day. :(

Sorry to hear about the redundancy Jay_dee. Hopefully you'll find something to ebay out of the office. Good luck.

Good luck, Jay_dee, quite a few redundancies being announced on the forums recently. It doesn't make it sound like there's any sign to the end of the recession, that's for sure. Hope you get something organised soon and hoope your (ex) boss doesn't mean help yourself in lieu of redundancy payment?!
I reserve the right not to spend.

So sorry to hear about the redundancy Jay-dee...its such an awful time out there at the moment. I'm on a fixed working period until July next year but am dreading finishing that as there's no guarantee my firm will take me on at the end (I'm training).

Another £6.03 for me today, not a lot and I'm miles behind where I should be but "every penny counts"! :D x

  • Thanks everyone! Today was even more hideous yesterday, one of the suppliers who are owed money phoned up threatening, then he came around and tried to get in so he could remove stuff, he was banging on the doors, swearing, shouting and everything, I was shaking like a leaf. I'm so glad its all over!
Hope you get something organised soon and hoope your (ex) boss doesn't mean help yourself in lieu of redundancy payment?!
No that is all sorted :) she just didn't want things to go to waste that were left over. We got our last pay yesterday and redundancy payment is being sorted - I think I'll be getting around 3 weeks as I've been there 3.5 years so I'm ok for a bit as I live with the folks at the mo.

On a brighter note, I just opened up my inbox to about 4 survey invites so fingers crossed I qualify and can get myself points towards something. :)
