ds1 does similar....not so much now, but he is nearly 9yrs now and it does still crop up time to time. Apparantly he lived in America with his other mum and dad...his mum had short brown hair. He always used to say, 'oh I did that with my other mum' or 'at my old house we had such an such' Some of the things were really vivid too....I cried over it one night because he said it was better with his other mum and dad as they took him on holiday........It was FREAKY
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

oh yes meant to ask, when anyone was expecting their 2nd child, did you find out the sex at your scan or not.... still deciding.....

    We did....but long story!
As we found out we were having No.2, we were also just finding out about No.1's learning difficulties/disability.
Being quite worried, I asked No.1's pediatrician about the chances of something being wrong with No.2, and she said to find out the sex to ease my mind, as any disabilities are more common in boys! Anyway, we found out it was a girl......... not sure what we'd have done if it was a boy....... just worried more maybe! (Thankfully this wise talking pediatrician has since retired, years past when she should have.

They usually say somewhere on them if/when they expire.

I was a naughty mummy today, I was out walking the dog, El in toe she was dithering about. I was watching as the dog had crossed the water to the field on the other side. I was too busy looking at him, I thought El had carried on walking but she was bent down infront of the buggy and I smacked straight into. I burst her eyebrow, gave her an egg and a bruise on her forehead and a bump and scar under her eye. No real harm done tho a wee bubble then she was fine.

Oh I bet you felt really horrid and guilty *hugs* A few weeks ago I was putting Charlotte in the car and she decided to run past the door as I opened it and I smacked it off her head. I felt really awful :o

The first time I checked she was checking out the moses baskets while saying, "Little brother, little brother, little brother." She also sometimes claims that "Baby sister" is outside and we need to let her in and then is quite sad and says, "Baby sister gone" when we open the front door and show her that no one is there. Has anyone elses child randomly started talking about baby brothers and sisters? I'm worried she'll do it in front of people we know and that they'll then jump to wrong conclusions.

They sometimes do go through an imaginary friend phase. Joshua had a few - I can remember "Bam the very important baby" who was always telling Joshua what to play with and what to eat etc., and he had a cat called Snowy. He gets embarrassed if you remind him about it now :o
Here I go again on my own....

I've been trying to remember if there is a special name for it but back in the day there was something you got from the chemist to make milk pudding for babies that needed to keep milk down or something (I'm remembering this from a biology lesson about 10yrs ago so probably all wrong) I bet if savvy were around she'd know.
maybe geletine would work tho? its basically milk jelly so she would be eating milk

OMG - I am hoping that Benjamin never comes out with creepy stuff like that.

I remember hubby getting really upset one weekend a few years ago because DSS closed his eyes and said 'I'll kill myself'

Hubby was panicking...when I was chatting to DSS trying to establish what he had been up to (thinking he had been watching something inappropriate on the TV) it turns out that they had been playing 'Blink Murder' at scouts and he was trying to play it on his own :rotfl::rotfl:

Sami, how likely is it you'll be in bed in 45 mins? :p Underage and Pregnant is on at 2345

I must look stressed.. Rhys just started crying (no biggie, he's due a feed) and OH came tearing in here, and took Rhys off me, saying "Come on, Daddy's turn to give Rhys his bottle, let's give Mummy some peace"

Jillie I was in hospital, fed LO then went for a shower while OH stayed with LO. I was then taken to a ward once I was sorted.

    .

Poor El, wicked mummy! It's really horrible when the hurt themselves isn't it!

Jillie I was in hospital, fed LO then went for a shower while OH (and MIL!) stayed with LO. Then I went home! :j

With DD1 they insisted I had a bath, with OH sitting in the room with me. It was a total blood bath and I came out in a worse mess than I went in!

My DD insisted for a long time her real name was Sarah and that her real mummy was knocked down by a red car and was in heaven. She used to talk about how much she missed her dog and real mummy. She relayed the story to anyone who would listen. Her words were "she had been here before". It used to spook me right out.

I was taking DD1 on the Liverpool Ferry boat when she was about two and was saying 'how exciting, you've never been on a big boat before'. She said don't be silly mummy, i went on the big boat that sunk!. I asked when, she said you don't know, i wasn't with you, it was when I lived with my other mummy!
