Well the grinch returned last night
We had nextdoors in as she was at the peak of the screaming and moaning and thank goodness she's a paediatric nurse! She was walking up and down our livingroom with her for a good half hour... eventually after checking her over she said: "I think calpol might be a good move..." :rotfl: so my daughter had the first dose of calpol in her life and although it took another hour she did eventually go down... from 10:30 till 8 this morning we slept with only a small grinch very early this morning when I just stuck the dummy back in
She did say it sounds like she could be starting teething as for 2 days she been fussy about boobies... she'll clamp on like she's starving then after half a dozen sucks she'll wriggle off again... there is no sign of the dreaded thrush so teeth seem a definite possibility :eek:DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

I can just about remember the half penny... I remember half penny sweets...
Did you know bottom shuffling is hereditary... Aimee crawled and was cruising the furniture by 7 months... Didn't let go and actually walk until 13 months though...
Baby's whinging... Back later...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Back from the first app - blood tests and injection. First time we've been to the Child Development Centre, looks very nice
Consultant's app is this afternoon at one of those big doctors surgery places, where they have about 30 GPs and do minor surgery etc.
Got the confirmation of Child Benefit today so that's 12 days after I posted the forms. Also got a £30 Mothercare giftcard in the post from the Financial Advisors I deal with at work!0 -
Sami - are you stalking me???
I can imagine WW3 breaking out over a Pie - I love my Pie, its my favorite tea!

You made coffee come down my nose :eek:Morning all..
Well Rhys slept 1230 to 0520 with a bit of whinging at 0300 which didn't amount to much, then 0530 to 0810. Only thing we did differently was warm his blanket before lying him on it
I could do with another hours kip, but daren't go back to sleep in case I don't wake up for our first appointment
ETA: Good Lord.. the builders are here - BEFORE 9am!
...so Rhys slept 12.30am -5.20am but you were still posting at 2.45am?? Need to sleep when baby sleeps!!!SeptemberBaby wrote: »I know! And whats worse is I'm of an age where I can remember b&w and remoteless tv's :rotfl:

I have had a baby bumper post today
Child Benefit confirmation came in
£30 boots vouchers from work came
Dyland 8 week injection appt for when he is 9 weeks !!
And the appt for his 1st peadiatrician appt for 2nd Sept.
I have to say I cried a little when that came in, as I just thought of what they might say, but then I thought, he has been doing really well so far, other than have a bad twitch in his right foot wich I have to keep an eye on, so hopefully all should be well
I am off to pick up my new reading / driving glasses this afternoon :)n They are rather swanky, even if I do say so myselfThe two best things I have done with my life

I remember the half penny too
Being one of the [STRIKE]more mature [/STRIKE], OK, older parents on here...... I remember our tv where you changed channels (1, 2 or 3), with an alphabetical dial on the wall! We were one of the first to get a colour tele and I remember my uncles and all their friends coming round to watch a Liverpool final game in colour.
Then we were one of the first to get a video, not sure when it was, but my uncle borrowed a pirate copy of ET for us - anyone know what year that would have been.
And, it was a posh one, it had a remote control, attached by a huge wire across the floor. :rotfl:But Grandad insisted the remote control was kept on top of the video, so it didn't get lostso you had to get up and get it anyway.
Good luck with the consultant appointment, Elle.
And,
Have a brilliant day, SM!:beer:0 -
Charlotte has started bed hopping the last couple of nights. She wakes up about 4-5am and goes and gets into bed with someone else. Joshua sleeps in a high sleeper bed and last night she managed to climb up the ladder in the dark to get in with him
Will see how she goes but might have to consider a safety gate on her bedroom door.Morning all..

My first video player had a remote... on a wire! :rotfl: I remember having 1/2p coins but not spending them because they were out of circulation before I was born! The first single I bought was on vinyl though
r.mac I think the ave age that they manage locomotion is between 6 and 9 mths
Elle : glad you mentioned CB, have you heard from tax credits, I know we called them on the same day I've not had my confirmation yet (not surprised by that tho)
This morning I remembered the name of the bumbo inspired seat in asda its THIS one £20 in store its marked as reduced from £26.
can I ask those that bought 2nd hand bumbos how much they paid? they're reduced to £27 in mothercare at the mo so I'm wondering what the saving is...
Just had to bath Ed as he did a humongous poop that was everywhere - nice!
He splet for about 7hrs straight last night :T so if I'm on here after 10:30 tonight send me to bed because Chris has started getting up at 7/8ish and I want to get back into the routine of getting up at a normal time
phew big post!0 -
We used to share a mobile :rotfl:whoever needed it most in the family had it for that day/night!!
BUT - you never actually used it because it was too bl00dy expensive to make a call either to it or from it!! It was emergencies only!
Those were the days! When you made an arrangement to meet your friends and you all turned up on time  you could even arrange something a week in advance and people would still be there!
And when you could buy cigarettes in ones in the newsagents :rotfl:please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120
