Don't get me started on inlaws.. Apparently the monster-in-law is gracing us with her presence tomorrow  OH is working this weekend so his only time off within last week and next is today and tomorrow afternoons so we might want to go out to do something, but she's just said shes coming tomorrow afternoon but won't specify when so expects us to wait in all afternoon for her  Thing is, my aunty and uncle are over for the day tomorrow (live three hours away) so I'm taking Rhys to my parents to see them mid-afternoon. MIL is in a strop over it and even pointing out she lives twenty mins away and could see him anytime hasn't stopped her! Grrr...

Sami's got a nice FIL, he takes them on holiday!!!
    ;)I do have fab IL's :D
I think my MIL is desperate for BIL to marry his GF (she'll have a wait if they do decided to marry coz they're only 18) poor thing has crap parents - mum doesn't have a maternal bone in her body and her dad is an alchy :( she had 2 teeth knocked out in a hockey match, had them put back but they've not taken, its gonna cost over £2k for her to get decent fake ones when she told her mum she said she couldn't afford that kind of money and then the following week bought a brand new Audi TT
MIL was desperate to pay for the treatment but knew it wasn't really her place
my FIL brought me a paper when I was in hospital and asked Chris for the 30p !!
tight git! he needs lessons from my IL's

MIL was at grandparents today. We fell out big time when I was pregnant with Charlotte and she's not spoken to us since. She went out into the garden when we arrived, so we didn't know she was there until Craig went out for a smoke. His Grandad tried to break the ice by asking if she was going to say hello to Craig and she just looked down her nose at him and said "I'll say hello but nothing else" and then looked away

I feel sorry for her missing out on her first grandchild and I'm sure she would adore Charlotte if she got to know her. Craig said I'm not to make contact though as she walked away from us and said not to contact her again, so it's up to her to get back in touch if she wants a relationship.
Here I go again on my own....

this is like my BIL OH has said they wanted nothing to do with us so we have had no contact since I was about 2 months pregnant. I like it that way coz SIL is a b***h

At least they chose not to see your LO's, My one n only uncle met Chris for the fist time when he was 20mths. Uncle had split from his wife who had kept him away from us because we are still in touch with his ex-wife (who is my sis n I's godmother and take this role seriously) poor uncle cried his eyes out when he met Chris because he felt so guilty that he'd missed out on so much because of the b1tch

My family arent that close when it comes to aunts and things, neither is Chris' family. We are both close to our sisters, except his eldest sister who is a bit stuck up, now lives in England and sees us for 5 mins when she is over visiting IF I go over to her !! Although we have never fallen out, so we all still speak.. I do count myself lucky I dont have half the family problems some of you let do !!

Aww poor Zoe, its so crap that your now left to try and explain that some people are nobs.

I was wondering, for those with more than 1 child did you get a lot less presents for 2nd+ child? When Chris was born I wrote a list of all the cards and presents in my notepad and it was nearly 3 pages, I wrote Edgar's in the same pad and it was barely a page. now I'm not bothered if I get presents off people but to give for the 1st child and not the 2nd I find annoying
