What do you think is a reasonable price to pay for a 'nearly new' changing bag that is £50ish new? I can't decide what to set my bid at :undecided

Oh wow, Skinty is in labour?! Best go and read over there, I've been waiting for her to have this baby!

(Is it just me who gets jealous about people having babies? I mean, its so silly, even while I was pregnant, I got jealous of other people getting pregnant.)

Brother and sister in law, and neices and nephews think they've got swine flu! I'm feeling pretty ill, so exhausted, even sitting up is hard work. Thing my busy weekend was too busy.
LOL no it aint just you, I found it really hard in prengnacy because 1 week after i found out i was pregnant, so did my neighbour and it really !!!!ed me off! yet when 1 week after that I found out my bestest and oldest friend was pregnant I couldnt of been happier, infact i was happier for her than i was for me! lol

Speaking of guilt and general feeling crap, OH left me a msg on MSN last night and has been texting me this morning telling me, basically, I'm ace.. :o He's suggested having a nice tea and watching a DVD together tonight.. Grovelling, much? ;)
:jI do love it when they're grovelling!

I'm in good books I think because I've decided to go up to bed earlier from now on, so I watch 'my programs' in bed (and take webby with me!) and last night I let OH snuggle up to me - I'm one of those people that can't stand being touched when I'm trying to sleep :o

I thought that surely all parenting is natural :)
but I think attachment parenting is called that because baby tends to be attached to you most of the time as apposed to being in a pram, cot etc.
for me personally it's all semantics tho, I am 'just' a parent, I bring up my children who I feel I should - I suppose if you wanted to give me a label I'd be instict parenting :rotfl:
I think in this context, natural probably means as non artificial as possible (so for example breastfeeding is natural whereas formula milk and bottles are not). Actually that reminds me - Ingrid Bauer who was one of the early proponents of EC now calls it "Natural Infant Hygiene" instead.

Actually another reason I don't describe myself as an attachment parent is probably because even though lots of what I do does fall under that category, a lot doesn't - I just do whatever I think is best for my child (which I guess is what everyone else is doing too).

Cliodhna was born 30th June so will be the youngest in her class. I dont think I would keep her off till the following year though, I think school is good for them and its nice to regain a bit of freedom.

see I think I've started a new 'movement' Instict Parenting - we just do what we think is best, following our mothering insticts

No it's not just you. (Although I don't really want the pregnant part - just the birth/baby.)

I've never been able to fit everything in the Huggies bag - I use it as holiday/swimming bag. (I did get given a massive change bag by a friend though who kept buying them and then not liking them - if I'd had to actually pay for one I might have put up with the Huggies one.)
