Yeah, too many - that's the prob. Want a completely new one just for Rhys' money - pref one with a any-colour-but-blue debit card cos I have too many of those and get confused and keep paying for the wrong thing with the wrong card..
Thanks for the tip on the letter, will do
I had this problem but luckily barclays cards are matt not shiny and take very well to being written on in marker so I have one that says 'mine' and one 'joint'
Ps. you lot are in bed with me  ;p0 -

I started a reply earlier then my grinch woke...
I hope you're ok and that you have managed to have a calm-ish talk with him...
Men do stupid things sometimes and just like us women do daft stuff thanks to hormones then men sometimes do too - not excusing it! But I think sometimes they freak out a little and do things they wouldn't normally have...
The question is - can you learn to trust him again and forgive? If you can then don't let anyone tell you that you're a fool for letting him have another chance

I think I'm about an hour behind you, SM.. Rhys is in the mood to play silly beggars and Mummy most definitely is not

OH just woke up so I spent the last ten minutes telling Rhys how tired I was and how I wish I'd been able to have a nap but I've been on the go all day and how I was up way before Daddy and had to wake him up for work... I think that got the message across!

:rotfl: Life is certainly too short for UNPICKING 6 million sequins you've not long sewn on!I glued them on, then put it in the washing machine to make sure none fell off! (Her excuse for sewing was that if we use the costumes in the future, we wouldn't be able to get the sequins off - although if we used them in the future, the bl00dy things wouldn't fit anyway!) She's just one of those people who likes the power of running a dance school and likes to remind people who's boss.
For the record, neither DS was ever dressed up like a Thai lady-boy. Although DS3 did wear girl's uniform at school one day for Comic Relief (they can wear trousers, the main difference is that girls don't wear ties, and have jumpers instead of blazers). Since his hair came down to his bum at the time, it was very effective. He said it was OK up until lunchtime, and then they put make up on him. Fortunately I met him from school that day and the first thing he asked for was a tissue to clean it off!I do think the boy dancers get a better deal. They're not (usually) dressed up like Thai lady-boys, and they get a good part in the dances as there is very few of them. (Only one in Liv's class of 20ish!)
No guarantees of that, even with Toddler Taming, but one suggestion (seriously) is to avoid saying 'no' as far as possible. So, to "can I have a biscuit" you say "yes, when you have ..." You need to work out some 'scripts' in advance, but that can work.LucyB-Bride_to_Be wrote: »I'm a bit of a lurker on here
but you all seem like a lovely bunch so thought i'd ask you all for a bit of advice....I have a 2 and a half year old who up until about 2months ago was a very sweet little boy, but recently he's become a total monster  I know this is probably just terrible 2's but i'm really struggling to cope with him at the minute! He's just become so naughty, he won't listen to a word i say ( even tho he understands completely) he just chooses to ignore me. It's a major battle anytime we go somewhere as he won't go in his pushchair and insists on walking everywhere but then tries to run off whenever we go out. He throws tantrums over the smallest things and hates the word "no"!! I kno this probs sounds really daft but i'm really getting to the end of my tether with him
i just don't know how to cope with him anymore. Has anyone got any suggestions on how to deal with this kind of behaviour?? I just want my sweet little boy back!! x
I know you've had some other answers, I'm just working my way through ...Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

I was a bit miffed that I never had to give my name when I walked in with one of the boys, yet they always asked my friend (sometimes we went together). I mean, we had children roughly the same ages, and I don't think I was down there much more often with mine. That's what I regret about moving to another village - ours were so good that you didn't even need to give your name when you phoned up.
I mean, I know my GP had me down as a bolshie so and so because I had a couple of home births and didn't want to take anti-depressants, but this was the receptionists! :rotfl: (And my GP was fab, even if he did have me down as bolshie!)Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
LOL Not only did OH get the message and take Rhys off me, he just got the biggest nappy-filling fart you have ever heard! HA, karma

Boots do nice little 'smelly' sets, shower gel etc. I'd also browse bookshops but no specific suggestions as my goddaughters are the same age as my boys. I always struggled to know what to get!Deleted_User wrote: »I need to buy girlie gifts for an 8yr old and 10yr old, no more than a fiver each. Does anyone have any ideas on what's popular for this age group at the moment? I'm clueless and short of going down the local toyshop, i don't know who else to ask.
A tip for this is to have different PINs for different accounts - maybe you do already, but I find if I give the 'wrong' card over I realise when the PIN doesn't work!Yeah, too many - that's the prob. Want a completely new one just for Rhys' money - pref one with a any-colour-but-blue debit card cos I have too many of those and get confused and keep paying for the wrong thing with the wrong card..
Although some accounts used to let you choose what design of card you had, so that would also help.
And I also keep cards in different places: so my frequently used cards are in one part of my purse, my work credit card is in a separate part, my cards for use abroad are in my travel purse, and my 'emergency' cards are in my emergency purse ... :rotfl:Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
