Still working on the plan but in the meantime; £16 from a matched bet last weekend and £12.22 from last monthly payment means that flight is almost wiped off the board....Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110

Right, more details to follow but having just joined in on the payment a day thread with a massive £250 paid from my bonus this month I could barely contain my excitement. That will finish off the flight and will also take care of a number of other entries which I will have to update a little later!Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110

Ok, so the plan is going to take roughly this form.....
I reckon my minimum payment on credit card total each month is going to be circa £100, if it is less then I will set it at £100 anyway, if it is slightly more then all the better. But I plan to pay off at least £250 per month for the duration of the 16 months that I have on 0% card from Virgin. That way I should be Credit Card free by the end of the deal, if not sooner.
Today I have paid off £250 (not including the minimum payment that will come off on top of this) as I got a bonus this month, so hopefully should be able to reduce by more than planned, but there may be months later where it is more difficult. In my mind though I feel like generating £150 per month from other means shouldn't be too difficult so am hopeful I can achieve this a bit earlier.
So, I shall be doing Payment a Day from now on, I am also collecting £2 coins and hope to do at least one month's top up of £150 through £2 coins alone. Im gonna keep going on the attack abbey stance, mainly because I like attacking abbey, but also because it has worked quite well so far, and will also be using the itemiser to target little bits here and there. Probably too many plates all spinning at once but they all lead to debts being paid off so that is no bad thing...
Need to get back to my list of things to target so I can select the next victim and scratch off a few from todays monster payment!Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110 -

Managed to acquire a pack of fags over the weekend which I have no use for so sold to a mate at work for £4.00. Not proud of it as wish he didn't smoke but saved him a couple of quid as well as helping me along too.Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110

Well he'd have bought fags anyways! I know what you mean though, I've brought fags back from holiday for friends and always feel bad but I know they're going to buy them anyways so I'd rather save them a bit of money.Initial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80

Indeed, if smokey joe has to smoke then he might as well do it cheaply and I might as well clear a bit of debt, speaking of which I have got my Virgin card set up for online payments, got the balance transferred from other cards and am now paying no interest! Have been doing payment a day and have forced £1 accross today as a token gesture but did win £20 on Bingo Britain today so will fire that on when it comes through!Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110

Am being a bit rubbish at the moment - got money to pay off but haven't been bothered to deposit to withdraw from here and there so slowing down my totals.. £4 payments a day contraibution, £1 a day since friday which keeps me ticking over but this week I should get about £7 from jackpot joy, £16 from william hill, £27 from A+L and £20 from BB. so should be a good week with any luck.Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110

Just checked online banking and min payments have cleared another £30.69 which I wasn't expecting being as I paid £375 last week, guess the payment had already been requested, so without meaning to I have paid another chunk off, although that has taken a bit out of my remaining money for the month!Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110
