Managed my second little win on Bingo Britain meaning I have now recouped my £5 deposit and am now £5 up, will add that when it hits the account, monthly payment has also come off so will have to work out how much has come off due to that. Been doing a bit of matched betting, well kind of, this weekend, have really got to get back into it. I have a float of about £800 that I use for this which unless I am making use of it I might as well lump it off the debt. (For those that don't do mb'ing, you do need to have a good sized float to be able to do it with ease. I started with £200 and did it for about a month to get to £800. Will add any profits from the weekend when i know if I have any!Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110

Hi Racer, thanks for the support, cant wait to get the logon and get going on it! Will be nice to be able to see the balance coming down day by day.
Should be getting about £16 profit from a matched bet tonight so will hit the account later this week, have also decided that I am going to start taking part in payment a day which assuming I don't forget to do the scratchcards each day will be a minimum of 20p but am hoping for it to be whatever I have in my pocket when i get home each day. Also going to do the £2 collecting, am even going to start buying them off people with other (equal valued) money so that once I have it I won't spend it! Going to aim for £250 as soon as I can....Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110 -
Just got some brilliant news!! Got a text from Virgin, have been granted my interest free card and they have given me a limit of £3500, this means I can transfer most of my outstanding balances onto the card and get 0% for 16 months! The next year of the debt free journey will be largely interest free, has made me smile a VERY big smile this afternoon!!Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110

Hi Taylo... I've just found your diary.. everything's looking good!
:j:jFantastic news re the virgin card, that will make such a difference:j:j
Payment a day is a brilliant idea, I haven't done it recently as I rarely have any spare cash at the moment, but I was paying £1 a day and then any other odd pence I had in either my bills or current account. Internet banking is the best thing ever!!
I am going to find and join your itemizer challenge just now :T
Good luck with everything, you're doing fantastic :AInitial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80

Ok, going to be having a new plan of attack which I am currently working out the finer details of. Nothing major changing but with the new card I have a pretty good time frame to work within and it should be well before the big 3-0... will update when I have finalised what I want to do.
In other news I rang up A+L and closed down my account with them today, was holding on to get some bank charges back but looks like not going to happen now so have cut my losses and chalked it up to experience. Balance was £27.38 which they are sending to me in a chq so more to come off the balance in the coming week or so...
Hope everyone is well - Bowski has joined the Itemiser so maybe this will encourage more to add themselves.......?!Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110
