Woek is finished and the missus will be home for the first time in 4 days tonight! Today is a good day.Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110

Nice evening with the girlfriend last night, watched my sisters keeper, was constantly asked why I wasn't crying! Spent just under a fiver on getting dinner sorted for us both so nothing to add to my total unfortunately but should have majority of todays food sorted out so might see the T-shirt become a little more mine before the end of the day!
Got the folks coming down this weekend and think I may well receive a red cross food bundle from them, well ok, maybe just a cake then, which can be put to good use.
Got a low key weekend apart from that so a chance to think of other things to earn a few more £££Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110 -
Ok, home for the weekend which means I can put my mind to this a bit more than I can during the week, food was £4.59 yesterday but £0.00 today so £3.97 that can be added to my total getting me to £20.69, pretty happy with that as it means I have almost paid off the first item on my list in the first week of trying (maybe I should have thought of this two years ago.....)
Looking at this bingoport that I have seen mentioned, struggling to see how I would ever get to 8000 points on slots as you need to risk points to get them, do people get wins big enough to make it worthwhile?
Going to see if I can get some stuff on Ebay as well, did a fair bit of this a couple of months ago with some good success but still have a fair few things that could do with being shifted and I certainly could do with the extra few quid.Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110 -
Ok bingoport so far has been unsuccesful, none of that begginners luck so far but will keep going.. No ebay last night as my camera needed charging for taking the photos so will do that after the folks have left later on.
Exciting news is that I have paid of the first item on the list now - the T-Shirrt is now officially mine (once I have sent the payment off). Got my Abbey statement through and the monthly payment knocked £10.56 off the balance so adding that to my total finishes off the T-Shirt and gives me £6.25 towards the next target which will be..... A BIN! Yep, when I moved into my flat I paid a whopping £49.99 for a bin for the kitchen, and you know what? It broke within a year, so Argos bin at £49.99 you are next in line!
Will go update the itemiser as this is its first success!
Edit - just won 2000 points on bingoport! Maybe there is something to it?!!Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110 -

Thanks Fire Fox, nice to see a friendly face, or seven!
Folks have just left, they bought a load of food so next week could well end up being a good week as well as not sure if I will have to dip into my budget any more than I have done this week which is good news, hope I can make short work of that bin!
Right, on with the ebay stuff!Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110 -
I thought the day was going so well! I had a load of food bought for me so that I will have to spend very little this week coming, got to see the folks which was great, listed loads of things on ebay, won a couple of thousand points on bingoport and then I check my online banking and my new cheaper, money saving, internet bill has gone out and taken me by surprise and pushed me over my overdraft limit - so annoyed with myself as I was sure there were no more payments to be made and now that has gone and happened! In the grand scheme of things I know it isn't the end of the world but it has really p*ssed me off!Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110

Pretty uneventful day today, haven't spent anything which is good, to add to yesterday but I am not counting anything on my total as I realised I spent the first £8 of the weeks budget last weekend on cleaning stuff. However, new day tomorrow and new opportunities to spend less / nothing! Got a bid on an ebay item at £3.99 already with 2 watchers so hopefully that will increase and the rest of the stuff has one watcher between the lot so improvements needed on those!
Got told that my Grandpa has now not got good enough vision to drive anymore which is sad, but he has offered me his car for nothing! I feel bad but am going to go help him with his garden to say thanks. Got to work out if I am better off with a car or not financially... probably not but at least I am mobile again as haven't had a car for almost a year now!
Anyway, looking forward to tomorrow and throwing more money at, instead of in, the bin.Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110 -
Uh-oh, what looked like a NSD didn't go as planned yesterday. Managed to get through the whole day without even coming close to spending anything and then my train home got cancelled, as did the rest of the trains home - wasn't about to hang around for a bus replacement as the queue was longer than the distance to walk home so thought I would get a lift to where my missus works and get a lift home with her - good plan, except she was down the pub so I had a social pint - £3.80, then we had to pick up dinner on the way home, £5.00 so instead of a NSD I spent nearly two days worth of budget! Damn!
Apparently I may be able to get a refund on the cost of the cancelled train (I get a season ticket but the journey would have been about £5) so I may be able to claim some back - but it still wan't the most succuesful day!
Quite a few Ebay auctions end today, I think a couple of items may go today, but the longer auctions I set have a better chance I think. We shall see!Paying it off one debt at a time!B&Q £12.40 / £93.110 -
Hi, yeah I think Martin has an article on claiming for late trains so presumably cancelled also qualifies... And yikes, is that how much a pint costs these days?! Last time I had one it was about £2.10!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
