Hi all - hope everyone is well!
I have half-done two of my challenges.....
The first box I took upstairs to the bed room was the frame of the chest of drawers. there was no point dragging all the other stuff upstairs as everything would have just been everywhere.....so I built the frame up. So I have taken HALF of the boxes upstairs and built HALF of the chest of drawers.....well, I have built the 'chest' I just need to build the drawers now!
You will all be glad to hear I have finally found the inspiration to clear out the rest of my toiletries and make up........
My card-making and hamper stuff all arrived!! :j:j:j
So Im clearing out the toiltries as these drawers will be used to house all my crafty bits and pieces! My teachers gift basket was a massive success, so its given me the confidence to do some more and hopefully make some money.
Ive come into an email at work this morning instructing us to put all business on hold so its not looking good. Jsut what I need - to be put out of a job, but they have said there will be a further announcement by the end of the week, so at least I wont have to wait long to find out.
Anyway - am off to buy some curling ribbon for my baskets and then will start making them up and listing on Ebay I think!!Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

I have a plastic bin in my kitchen, lined with a carrier bag, which I fill with stuff for the compost bin. I empty it about twice a week, replace the liner, and wash it in hot soapy water. It still smells slightly of musty fruit peelings
Any suggestions on how to get it to smell better
TIA, Penny. x
Havent read all the way to the current post yet but thought if I didnt do this now then I would forget who it was for
I always use tea tree oil in my bin to keep it smelling fresh. dont know if it will work on musty fruit but it deff works on day to day smelly cat food and wet nappies :rotfl:Emma

Hi orkney - it wasn't the daily flying lists I was referring to, but a rather exhausting and major decluttering guide that I posted! It definitely would need you to be childfree and full of energy to do!
.
I tend to de-clutter every so often, when I have the time/energy, so don't ever let it build up too much (just the way I am lol), partly because of my back problem I could not tackle it if it did build up too much!! It is so therapeutic to de-clutter though :T.

Thanks Frodders for letting me know about WDYTYA
Thifty, sorry to hear you were so ill last year, glad you got help and are much better now, that’s good to hear
Natty – rest, do not do any flying, you are ill and must rest
Penguin and Triker and Julie hope you are better soon
Swinstie – your glasses would go to some very grateful people in Africa if you donated them, would that help you to part with them? Re Hope Springs, we saw the end as we were waiting for Casualty 1909 – man (housing developer I think) and Ann Marie were going to have an affair but man told his wife and they split up and wife went to the hotel to celebrate. Ann Marie and man made plans for hotel and she went to hotel to tell the ladies to leave and she didn’t pay them what they were owed so they tied her up and put her in a cupboard. One of the ladies kissed the policeman. All the ladies went out to the car to leave except that 3 of them didn’t want to go, but Alex Kingston (sorry don’t know her name in the drama) said they had to go as they were about to be caught, and I think they showed someone phoning someone in London to say they knew where the ladies were. Not sure if the ladies left or not, I think it ended before they had decided.
Well done Greenbee on the jeans, that’s great!
Julie the Moss Valley looks lovely hope you enjoy your hike
Valli get them some knitting to do while watching tv, that way they can do organised fiddling! I used to be a terrible fiddler in my teenage years, I fiddled with pens, remotes, even resorted to having a ball of blue tack to roll up endlessly in my fingers, and then I found knitting! Keeps the hands occupied and is useful at the same time!
Big hugs to Me and your mum
Well done Holly
Penny I think putting salt in a bin gets rid of nasty niffs
Dollydaydream can’t Kev just say sorry I have the morning off, can’t come in, and the AM will have to make other arrangements
Flying: I'm pleased to report that DH was very industrious last night and threw away lots of his rubbish in a successful attempt to find the source of a nasty smell so the kitchen and table look much better today.
I plan to clean the bathroom sink and try to do some washing up today and carry on hanging out the washing that I washed yesterday.
Feeling a little better but very tired. Had a panic attack last night, since I've had this virus I've been feeling very panicy and odd and it seemed to boil over last night and get completely out of control. DH was very sweet. I'm trying to be as relaxed as possible today

Morning lovelies - dry here at the moment, so fingers crossed as I have washing on the line.
This morning I've:
loaded wm
hung washing out
cleared few bits of paperwork in kitchen and filed in filing cabinet
took paper to recycling bin
s/s kitchen
started dw
cleaned blasted glass table again!
showered and came to work after mercy dash to DD1's boyfriends house, as she'd left purse at home and couldn't get to work. Blooming 19 and still can't remember vital things like a purse?
This morning I feel really weird, I've got like a sugar rush feeling, do you know what I mean? All lightheaded and not quite with it. Great when you have a job where you have to think on your feet!!! :rotfl:
Hugs to all that need them, poorlies, stay in bed, let the others look after you for a change. Housework, if they don't do it will still be there when your better, so no point worrying about it. If your like me, the cleaning fairy never comes to our house and miraculously cleanes everything! :rotfl:To love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existance - Sydney Smith0
