Morning all, sorry I have not read yesterday's thread so hope you are all ok.
Only on day 4 of the holidays and lack of flying is really showing so I've just done a HHR (half hour rescue) of the kitchen.
Going to hoover all of downstairs in a minute and finish my dailies.
We have sunshine so I want to make the of it and do a bit in the garden this morning.
DS3 at mum's but I forgot to leave his booster seat so I'll have to drive up and get him later for swimming lessons. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning all
I have just spent the last 40 mins catching up on here when really I could have been doing something - no time now as have to get ready for work ----hehehe
I promise I will do some from the mega list tonight - it was jsut that I didn't get home from work until after 7, spent some time trying to help Mum who was visited by a very large black dog and had stopped taking all of her meds so felt really rough aswell. Then spent some time with DD - acutally talking - she had made me a cup of tea and cleared/cleaned the kitchen work tops and hoovered kitchen - lovely not to see a mess as soon as you walk in the back door.
DS sent me a draft of his statement at work but didn't come down to work on it.
He also did more digging in the garden.
Right off for my shower - I will take up some of the hanging washing so that the rail does not fall over!!
Hugs to all those that are poorly!
MeNovember NSD 1/10Weight loss - 7lbs from the 41 I need to loose = 34 to go0 -

Did this yesterday, I'm off to do the bathroom as soon as OH declutters himself to work...While I'm waiting, I think I'll try and finish clearing the kitchen hotspot.
Thank you very much to soappie and Penelope Penguin for the courgette recipes, am now worried I may not have enough courgettes....
:hello:Hi dusty! Have fun in the garden. I'm going to do some pottering in the garden this afternoon, as long as I'm not doing taxi service. I want to add some pretty flowers to my main sunny border - it looks a bit gappy since I cut back the oriental poppies.
Triker - look after yourself, and I hope you're feeling better very soon.
was it valli that mentioned the trug? A lovely present from my sister, a proper Sussex trug. She gave it to me years ago, and it was so lovely I never used it, then I realised that she didn't give it to me to leave lying around in the garage so I take it to the allotment with me every time for harvesting. Much nicer than plastic carrier bags! You can't see in the picture, but one edge section is broken - I put it down behind the car, forgot, and reversed into it... I must take it back to the shop for repair one day.
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
