  • Thanks Helen Jellie and Sunny Girl - yes writing it down really did help and I feel much calmer and relaxed about the interview on friday as I have a plan for what the result is... if that makes sense.

I have copied out the list this morning and both GT's have actually done something - will up date later as ou very late tea is now ready and I am starving as I have not eaten since 1.30.

    see you later

I It shouldn't be attempted by anyone with children under the age of 5 either. I think I'll go back and edit it to say that...I don't want anyone to feel they're failing because they are under the weather for any reason - heavens, it's been hard enough work for me to almost get my house back into shape, and it's not quite there yet!

I dont know about anyone else but my son isnt quite 3 yet and this is my first week at this flying malarky. I dont feel at all pressured into doing any of it but like the support from every one here. You are all a truely lovely bunch :o. If anything it gives me a kick up the butt to do the things that I should be doing but if not its me I am letting down and no-one else.
(Truth is I am too scared of Toots and Soappie so not doing it is never going to happen :rotfl:)

i know what you mean, it's my first week here as well and i don't feel pressured into doing it at all, my DD is 3.5 yrs and loves to help so if it gets her into a habit as well, it's good for me :D and her as it means she gets a sticker for helping and is one step closer to getting a small treat!!;)

elf - when I started, I was truly terrified of the flylady in charge (not pigpen at the time)- I even cleaned my oven!!! It is still great fun to see the list every day and see if I can get it all done within an hour (minus the extras).

ps DS1 has added the veggie pic to post 751 - yes, I'm showing off!!

eta - it isn't the daily list I was worrying about so much, but I posted a demanding decluttering guide a few pages back, and then felt I should make it clear it isn't something you should try without loads of energy.
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be
