Methekids etc - well done on making a decision. You've thought it through and explained and I think you're right. The most important thing in all this is your health and then your family xx

Hi all, I'm sitting up in bed bored out of my brain.. I have been sleeping and now I am wide awake and DH is fast asleep next to me. I have a cat curled up with me and a dog down at my feet and I am sweating for England, wonder if it's to do with the dog and cat wanting to be cuddly..lol

I'm sorry to say DH did not do his dinner, but he got a rather pared down version from me. I scraped the spuds while on the sofa, took me a good half hour but I did them. Then I threw the sausages in the oven, opened a tin of beans and put it all on low when I knew he would be nearly home. Managed to track him on his coach web page, so I know exactly where he is at night..hehehe. He dished up his own dinner, and mine I hasten to add. Although mine was only two sausages and two spuds. I then promptly fell asleep while watching Eureka on Sky.

I've decided to only stay on the lappy until my battery runs, which is about 2 hrs..lol.

I've decluttered my emails, written an overdue letter and tidied my books by the side of my bed. So I have been flying.. :)

Rose I would suggest you rest tomorrow hon, sounds like you might have "flu"..

Oooh this feels funny not having the list up..lol. Off to read the rest of the forum I think :)

Ok, I am very excited now :j:j! Only gone and got myself 3 stars!! These are the 3 rooms of the house that I have been keeping on top of and have done half an hour in each room and all done - yeah! Shame about the bedroom which looks like a bomb, hurricane, tornado and a burglary has happened at the same time. I even, wait for it, IRONED!

I never iron but thought I'd see what all the fuss was about, it's so nice to have clothes all sorted for work tomorrow.

  • Rose and Natty - it sounds like you have SF and I can certainly sympathise as i felt really realy carp last week. Have you been given Tamiflu as i found that this did help me. I am a little wheezy still but so much better - infact back to work in the morning - best go to bed soon..... Hugs to you both and rest in bed - dont sleep in the armchair as I did - it is realy uncomfortable!!

Thanks Soappie - I feel quite relieved that I have finally got some order to my thinking - maybe having SF was my body's way of saying enough now - make some choices.

Have written out the list of all the jobs so far this week for the GT and also instructed them that I want this done before I get home from work. We will see how sucessful they are - to be honest anything they do will be helpful!

Just the basics today as worked until 5pm, went swimming, did 80 mile round-trip to pick up OH from home then to visit grandma.
Smiled through equal quantities of confusion, normal chit-chat and rants about family members, all determined to steal her pension.
Had tea at 11pm, off for a shower and back up at 6am to start again.

    Morning All

It's dry here at the moment but that will probably change soon as I've put the WM on. I've also helped DH to assemble a bike rack - why he decided to do it at 6am I have no idea and done his sandwiches. Just eating some toast and then I may do some jobs.

    Have a good day all

Morning. Dry here for the moment.... I am sooooo sick of the rain.

Hopefully I'll have a dry dog walk today. I have a strong feeling I'm s'posed to do something important today, but can't remember what???

Best get these children fed. See you later
