    Have never been, but I hear its lovely. Furthest west I've managed is Tighnabruaich...Shame we dont know our own country better :o


    Its lovely in the summer when the sun shines but really rubbish in winter and it rains (guess most places are like that though) I am totally ashamed at me lack of GB travelling. Have never been to the islands - which is a shame cos I am sure they would be beautiful ......

    Tuesday's list doesn't look too bad Piggers. I will go off piste though. I have a meeting here at home tomorrow so I need to make sure the 'public' areas of the house are in fine fettle - i.e. living room and hallway. I'll do the bathroom too though, just in case a meeting attendee needs to make a visit.

    But, it's all remarkably up to scratch. Having been on here so long, there is very little to declutter off floors etc. anymore. But then there's no little ones running around messing things up. So take heart new people, after a couple of years, it'll get easier to complete the lists.... :D

    Tuesday Terrors! ~ Bathroom of Doom and Cruddy Study and Lost Landing!
    Level One
    Declutter all the floors!
    Empty all the bins
    Level Two
    Set computer to defrag then clean the bath and loo and tiles and basins and toilets and showers and bidets etc
    Wipe over any chairs etc
    Polish the pc/lappy
    Level Three
    Clear a box of clutter from the landing and a hotspot from the study
    Vacuum/mop all the floors
    Wipe over and dusty paintwork
    Extras
    1. Wash out the bins after emptying
    2. binbag dance in these areas
    3. Wash any windows in these areas that are in need
    4. Catch up on a couple of phone calls! (tax credits tax credits ra-ra-ra!!!)

    1. send birthday present to my internet buddy forgot it was public holiday up here today, will do tomorrow:D
    2. post suit to other internet buddy ( been meaning to do it for ages now:o) see above:rolleyes:
    3. put away ironing
    4. deal with the dog hair carpet:j
    5. cut grass....I know, I know... it rained all week last time I had it on my list but it needs done again:rolleyes::D

    Magnificent Monday ~Cool kitchen!
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe worksurfaces
    [/STRIKE]
    Empty and wash out the bin.. make it smell sweet!
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Wipe all appliances.. large and small :p
    Wipe over units and kickboards
    [/STRIKE]
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Level Three
    Sort and organise all the drawers in these rooms!..

    Thoroughly clean the fridge
    [STRIKE]Wipe the table.. does it need a clean cloth[/STRIKE]

    Extras
    1. Clean filters and doorseals!
    2. Wash the windows if they need it
    3. Clean/descale a small appliance.. shake the crumbs from the toaster.. defuzz the kettle... de-mank the microwave
    4. Scrub out the oven and hob

    DD's 1 & 2 packed off to dads for the night.. it is gran-in-laws funeral tomorrow and they are going in the car with him so he asked if they could stay over.. then behaved like a f-quit
    binbag to charity shop
    Children at church summer club 9:30-12noon.. need to check where it is!
    Calls to make council re: rubbish, Solicitor, CSA, dentist.. I can't remember if or when the children have appointments for, decorator for kitchen quote. Doctors to see if test results are in.
