Evening everyone. Well DD has been diagnosed as having mild swine flu and given Tamiflu. She rang me at work this morning. She said NHS Direct were not helpful and had to wait for call from gp after she rang them. Cost her £6 in phone calls. I think the number should be free. I have no symptoms but informed my boss anyway. Said that if I developed any I would not go to work. Not going to the hospital this week Im being cautious.
I have just about finished the kitchen but Im ready for my bed so will finish it tomorrow.
Vanilla Hope your engagement ring turns up.
Froddington Happy Birthday :bdaycake:

Sorry Dusty, it was just that you said you could see the BD out of the window! I thought you meant a literal dog! Glad I made you laugh tho! Hope you feel better soon
Hugs Natty, have plenty of rest and fluids, hope you are feeling better soon. Your OH sounds a big insensitive, perhaps he was trying to reassure you. I agree with SS, get into bed and he will realise you really mean it when you say you feel really ill
Helen glad to hear that DD managed to be so good today
MOAM glad you’ve heard when DS’s op will be, hope it’s nothing serious. How’s your rellies knee, is it any better? Are they having a nice trip?
Toots, I love your avatar
Holly, hope your migraine goes soon. Your college sounds just like the one I went to, your description brought back all the stomach churning – I hated it there horrible horrible place
I've washed up, hung out the washing, watered the plants, and done some general floor decluttering. Done level one on the kitchen list
Poor DH is really upset this evening - I thought he was going to cry earlier. His hedge trimmer is broken and he had his eye on one on ebay but he forgot to bid on it in time and only went online after it had ended. There are others available I think, but not as good, or too expensive. He's not normally upset by things like that, a bit annoyed with himself maybe but he gets over it quickly. I think he's overly tired after the weekend, but I'm going to keep an eye on him. Hope he's not going down with something. I'm not used to him being the miserable one! Poor thing

Hi everyone.
Not posted my 5 things to do this week yet so here it goes:- [STRIKE]Go for a run.[/STRIKE]...done tonight.
- Half hour filing
- spray mouldy bits around the bath with mould spray (to be done tomorrow so we are not in to breathe in the bleachy fumes).
- catch up with the ironing
- List 2 things on ebay.
Hope everyone is all OK, I've just not had chance to read the thread and I'll be off for an early night soon so probably won't get to it either. Will try to keep up a bit more tomorrow. Hugs all round for those who need them and also for those of you who don't.
See you in the morning. x0
