have dusted & wiped the kitchen, scrubbed the kitchen floor, washed out the kitchen bin and had a go at the oven which doesnt look much better. as it was nice here I have also washed the bathmats & have done some paperwork as DS has gone away with a friend for a few days so no interruptions today.
back at work & off out tomorrow so nothing more will get done until wednesday

carlsberggal hi honey I am being good - nothing else for it - and the thought of pigpen's flying mules and you beating me up - I darent risk doing anything!!! regrading the weekly challenge - even though we might be having it for a wee while you can still post your list of 5 and work through them - it seems to be working for you - well done!!!!
pigpen are you going to the funeral? I may have missed it - but how did the birthday girl like her party - did you have loads of cuddles with Jacob - any word of the house?

I was going to the funeral, which obviously is tomorrow but TBH I don't think I can stand being in the same place as him for a minute let alone a couple of hours.. I think we would come to blows I truly do and I don't think it would be appropriate.

GF had a fab party, she almost cried when we sang hapy birthday to her and had to have a quiet 2 minutes in another room. I had a few cuddles.. but he has been away from us all so long he was a little clingy with mummy, also partly his age and partly because he wanted to roll about on the floor and squeal.. and every time I did hold him he was sick on me! .. Grotbag.

As for a house, we daren't even ask any more.. it is just getting further and further away! They are hoping to be allowed to come back for next weekend when it is DD2's birthday.. but we shall have to wait and see if that will happen.

    Oh, just missed you toots!

I have ---tarah!!!---- handed in the passport forms to the Post office, they were checked and sent off!!! So, that's a heart  for me please!!:D:D:D Done!!

I have also sorted about half the pots on the terrace, and decluttered a large population of slugs and snails. I don't think the frogs and hedgehogs will cope - some of the slugs are bigger than the frogs.

I think I'll probably do the livingroom, hall and stairs tomorrow, as that's my usual Tuesday list and I can get that done before going into school with DS1 - another lot of book scanning and sorting out resources. I don't want to go in again during the holiday.

dusty - hope you are feeling much better this evening. Yes, I'm beginning to unwind - at least I've lost that constant sensation that there's something that I've forgotten to do. I'd rather be down the allotment tomorrow - hope to do that on Wednesday. When are you off to France?

Hugs to all the poorly ones, cosset yourselves, and hope you feel better soon.

Special love and hugs for toots and Lady-Liberty!
