    Hi folks

Right first sorry for being missing all day, but I just haven't stopped.

7am started on the lists, all done by about mid day, inc the car, cleaning inside of all windows, then, moved plants round in greenhouse and potted some on, made picnic up, and off we went have a lovely afternoon, got back about 6.45pm or so, got washing in, folded and put away, a heap left for ironing tomorrow.

So hugs to all those that need them.

Jo good for your Monday list.
Toots I hope you are getting on ok.

Jo - i am so so so SO sorry to hear of your bad luck re; the job/money etc... you must be devastated. I totally applaud you for keeping a cool head and getting straight onto things - i'm sure i'd be an absolute mess in the same circumstances :o

As for me - well, we had another viewing today so the house is lovely and tidy again :)

I'm at a loss as to why no one wants to buy our house though?!?! It's driving me mental! lol. They're all giving reason that we can't do anything about grrr.

We had a viewing on tuesday which we thought went FANtastically - they were here for 1hr 15mins, and said they thought it was 'the one' for them - they could use one of the outbuildings to run their business from, saving them £6k per year, and everything else was 'spot on' (their words!).

Then we had a phone call from the estate agents on thursday saying that the outbuildings weren't suitable for them and the layout of the house wasn't to their liking either. !!!!!!?! Why rave about it to US then? Build our hopes up for nothing? I'd much rather people had a quick 15 min look about and "hmm'd & ahhhed" so we don't build our hopes up. They can always be polite about it, but just don't say things you don't mean!!!

And the people today said all the right things again - they were ever so nice :) but i just got the impression they weren't that impressed. Which is good in a way, because i'm not expecting an offer or anything from them now! I'd much rather people were like them!

I was saying to my mum the other day that i don't care how long it takes to move - if someone was to tell me that we'd be moving in december 2010 for example, i'd be more than happy. Because although it's 18 months away, at least we KNOW, and we're not just waiting and wondering and putting our lives on hold! That's the worst part about it all - not knowing WHEN :o

Ah well, fingers crossed - it's gotta happen sometime hasn't it! xx

    Evening all

Gardening won over DS3 room in the end, well you never know it could be raining again tomorrow.

DH has finished cutting all of the back hedge and has got some special plug things so my drains are now hopefully blocked off - bring on the rain as I want to see if they work and also see if all the smug neighbours who said they didn't have a problem do now I've plugged the damn.

Feeling really tired tonight so going to get the boys in from the garden in a minute, DS2 needs to help make his bed. Looking forward to reading the paper and an early night.

I've done another of my weekly jobs - I have ordered clubcard vouchers. Heart please!!

Done DS2 clothes too so need to do DS1's when he is home tomorrow afternoon to get another star.

    Update to 1330.

I have to admit that many of you have been a bit slapdash this week. So many of you have made a late run at the stars and stuff. The real Toots, I feel, would be disappointed in you and would probably have made a comment long before this.

The whole idea of the weekly lists is that they are done - or as much as possible is done - on the days they are posted. That way, the weekend is relatively free.

Let's see'f we can all do better next week people before the real Toots gets out of hospital.
