Why would anyone, ANYONE, ever want to wear these hideous things?

I used to think the same until I tried them last year after breaking my ankle - I couldn't bare the feel of having a 'normal' shoe round the back of my foot (it still hurts now :() Crocs are amazingly comfortable and my feet never ache after spending hours on them at work. Must say I prefer the look of the ones without the holes though.

I use to sell Nike trainers on ebay and I can confirm Male and Women shoe sizes in the UK are the same.

Does depend which shoes though- may be the same with Nike, but in many other trainers, womens shoes are designed to have higher arches and to be more slender- its why you get womens specific trainers in certain sports stores- I have a friend who can vouch for that after finding her feet were too broad for womens which meant she had to get mens in the same size- fit like a glove ;)

To be fair to them, they do state in their terms and conditions: "Split delivery: We may split delivery of your order into several parts based on stock availability. You will not be charged extra for this facility. Any additional consignments for delivery in the UK will be sent using the 24 hr delivery service to ensure they are with you as soon as possible. Please see "UK Delivery option: 24 hr Delivery"."

I sold mainly mens Nikes size 7 or 8 and because the average UK mens feet are larger, 40% of my customers were women!

BTW, just received my 3 pairs of Mickey Mouse Crocs for my two daughters, age 2 months and 26 months. Hope they're okay, because I won't be able to inspect them until I return to the UK at the end of August. However, my dads seen them and he thinks they are fine.

Oooh I've been trying to find an excuse to buy another pair for a whole year, at that price who needs an excuse! Can't remember what size I've got tho, I think on the bottom of mine the numbers are 4 and 6...does that sound right (ie UK4 / US6)? am actually a size 5 but bought was comfy :D

    Yep, that sounds about right.
I'd order a 7 or 8 from Sports Direct though, as I ordered 2 pairs of size 6 Mary Janes and they were actually a UK 4 1/2.

But I stretched them with a hair dryer :D

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

I wear Crocs because I've had "problem" feet since I was a child. This is the first time I've been able to wear fashionable shoes that don't cripple me! I never wear anything else now, I even wear some in the house instead of slippers.

I work in a nursery and it's great that I can compare footware with the children  A girl with special educational needs always finds me to see what colour Crocs I'm wearing on a particular day, it's helping her to learn her colours! How many other people can say that about their footwear? :D

I've ordered from Sports Direct before and never had any problems, they're always quick to deliver. I'll keep my fingers crossed that my latest order arrives!

Wasn't sure whether to post this here :o but for some of you that are having issues with your orders, you might be interested to know that Kays (and Choice and Littlewoods) have some Crocs for £25.00 or less and with the £15.00 off code which is in this thread: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1829675 (bottom of page 1) you can get them for £10.00. I know that's a little bit more but delivery is free and I ordered some for my son earlier (because Sports Direct didn't have much choice in his size) and they'll be delivered on Friday.

    HTH :)
