Im abit concerned and annoyed that i havent got a reply back from landlord yet,
but i guess he may not check his email every day.
However ive talked to my neighbour, and he says that he himself has been doing the job of an estate agent (showing people round his flat),
but so far theres only been 1 viewing in 3weeks and they were only going to offer £550 per month.
So i really cant see how the landlord could reject my offer of matching his current asking price,
when thats the best he could possibly get since its his asking price + will mean he doesn't have to have any empty flat at all.
if he hasnt replied by tomorrow evening il have to give him a call on wednesday to get this sorted out.0 -
It doesn't work like that. First they'll prosecute, then they'll take your kidney, first born and soul.
(Did extremely well due to the volatility and the easiness of trading oil that i brought, but theres no way the governmnet will or even could get any of my income to be taxed as its all be spent!):o0 -
Angel, have you considered any of the points re reducing your luxury outgoings as made by several people on this thread?
You seem to have ignored them.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Hmm yes, this appears to be the case.
Listen Angel!!!! You have already gone against good advice and sent out that ridiculous email to your LL, which, btw will probably not do you any good...
If you want advice....take it...don't ignore!!

He just want the rent reduced, so can spend a bit more on booze and haircuts...
It was the first thing that jumped out of his list to me too - booze, sky and 2 haircuts a month! And he says all luxuries have been cut...
Cut the booze and sky and already £100+ saved. Get a less demanding hairstyle and cut your hair once a month, another saving.
So far, he ignored all suggestions to save money, and only is requesting his landlord to reduce rent...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

Well you may get lucky and he does agree to drop to the price of the other flat, however there's absolutely nothing forcing him to do so and your email to him may have rubbed him up the wrong way.
It does seem to me that perhaps your ideas on the world have been skewed a little from the years you've been failing to declare your income and now you have a full-time job, taxed at source, your expectations about your standards of living don't match up to your net salary level
I hope you do sort it out with him, but if you don't I really think you need to be a little more realistic and look for something cheaper, look to share, or look to cut down on things which are not necessary.“Don't do it! Angel - I know the area quite well (I live very close to you in fact). Have you considered moving to Woking? Its cheaper than Addlestone and its a much bigger town centre. Its also got much better train links.Paying down the mortgage:
